Image at Risk for Deletion
Hello, AVONDELL. I am reaching out to you about an image that you had previously uploaded to the wiki, File:Toxy.png. While reviewing recent updates to the wiki, I noticed the image is used on the character page for Toxyrox (prime) but it is missing information required by Gswiki:Policy. GSwiki now has a new policy for all images uploaded to it. Please see Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights for more information about that policy and the requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. This information will need to be added onto the imag files itself as well as all articles displaying it. In addition, any images that were created using AI imaging software must be included in Category:AI artwork. If that information is not added within 7 days, the image will be deleted from the wiki. If you have any questions about this process or need more information about the updated policy for images, please reach out to the wiki team on the Gemstone forum's wiki thread. Thank you for understanding. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 08:35, 14 November 2023 (CST)
Hi HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk), I found an example image and added the information requested to the image page. Can you give me an example of how to add the information to "all articles displaying it"? Also, I added the image to the page Category:AI artwork but probably not in the way that you want. I do not know how to add it as a thumbnail with a link. Could you give me an example of how to do that? I do not have the skills to actually write code...all I can do is examine existing code and alter it and as I dont have any examples of code performing the tasks you want, I cant comply as of yet.
- Hi again, AVONDELL. The updates you added to both the image and the article are exactly what was needed, thank you very much! The only additional update I am making is adding [[Category:AI artwork]] to the image file so that it is properly categorized. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 08:36, 15 November 2023 (CST)
Oh I see how that's done now! Thank you and if I add any additional images, I'll make sure to do these things!
