Hello, GAMEQUEST3, thank you for making corrections to your uploaded artwork. Your efforts are greatly appreciated! I noticed that you had some difficulty with the category tags. If you are trying to add a category, you need to remove the "<nowiki>" and ""</nowiki> tags from around it, or the system will ignore it. The syntax is just surrounding ":Category:AI artwork" with double brackets. I.e "[[]]" Appreciate the help and hope this message finds you well. HOST-GSFAMINE (talk) 12:30, 8 May 2026 (CDT)
Images at Risk for Deletion
Hello, GAMEQUEST3. You recently uploaded several images to the wiki that are missing some information required by Gswiki:Policy. The images flagged are File:Pukk1.jpg, and File:Pukk.jpg. Your images are missing the following information:
- Who created the image?
- If that person is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it?
- If AI imaging software was used to create it, what is the name of that software?
- If AI imaging software was used to create it, [[Category:AI artwork]] must be in the image description for inclusion in Category:AI artwork.
Please see Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights for more information about the image policy and its requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. This information needs to be all images uploaded to the Gswiki as well as on all articles using them. In addition, all images using AI software in their creation are required to be included in Category:AI artwork. All articles using a moderator-flagged image will also need to have their captions updated to include this required information.
If you need examples on how to do this, Gswiki:Style guide/Images has copy/paste code examples for different image types. If you need instructions on how to do each step, Help:Images goes into detail on how to edit image files and how to display them with captions on articles.
If that information is not added within 7 days, any moderator-flagged images will deleted from the wiki. Please do not remove the {{moddelete}} template from any flagged image file. Another moderator or I will remove that template after your updates have been reviewed to ensure that they meet Gswiki:Policy requirements. If you have any questions about this process or need more information about the updated policy for images, please reach out to the wiki team on the Gemstone Discord forum's wiki thread. Thank you for understanding. HOST-GSFAMINE (talk) 11:44, 1 May 2026 (CDT)
Image Upload
Hello! I enjoyed reading about your character, Pukk. While I was reviewing updates on his character page Pukk (prime), I noticed that you did not include the artist or copyright information on the page itself the image File:Pukk.jpg that was recently added to it. Please see Help:Style#Copyrights for more information about the requirement to provide the source and artist name for all images uploaded to GSwiki. If you are the artist who created the artwork, you can simply note that instead. If you need an example of how to do this, the character page Arenglae (prime) does this very clearly for all of the portraits. Additionally, if any images were created using AI software, you will need to note what software was used to create them. Unfortunately simply stating that you own the copyright to the image is not sufficient. As an example, it can be as simple as, "Image created by the uploader using MidJourney" (or whatever software is appropriate). Thanks for understanding! I'll check back in soon to see if this information has been updated. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 11:17, 16 December 2022 (CST)
