The following occurred in Wehnimer's Landing, Town Square Central, on Niiman, day 18 of the month Lumnea, 5126. It was the early evening.

An old dark-skinned sailor asks, "H... hello?"

Speaking heartily to an old dark-skinned sailor, Chamorr says, "Hello."

Palantear asks, "Hello?"

A boom of thunder blasts through the grey skies.

An old dark-skinned sailor gazes in wonder at his surroundings.

An old dark-skinned sailor asks, "W... where am I?"

Palantear says, "I'm the last person to ask that."

Palantear chuckles.

Palantear sits down next to some wide stone benches.

An old dark-skinned sailor asks, "Are you also lost?"

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "I don't remember how I got here."

Speaking heartily to an old dark-skinned sailor, Chamorr says, "In da Landing."

Palantear points at Chamorr.

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "Landing."

An old dark-skinned sailor nods.

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "Landing."

Chamorr nods.

An old dark-skinned sailor asks, "Wehnimer's... Landing?"

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "I recall that name."

Chamorr heartily says, "Wehnimers Landin."

Chamorr nods.

Chamorr heartily says, "Thats right."

An old dark-skinned sailor asks, "W... who are you?  Were you also lost?"

Lightning streaks down from the sky, crackling and charging the air.

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "L... lightning."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "I remember lightning."

Speaking heartily to an old dark-skinned sailor, Chamorr says, "Im not lost, i live here, Chamorr da bear."

Palantear nods to the dark-skinned sailor.

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "I... think that I am a man of the seas... but it's kind of like a dream."

Speaking heartily to an old dark-skinned sailor, Chamorr says, "What yer name."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "My name."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "I... can't remember."

Chamorr heartily says, "Uhoh."

Palantear asks, "Do you remember how you got here?"

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "I was... on the ocean... and then I was not."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "And then I was here... by the water.  But there's not a gap between there, per se."

Speaking heartily to an old dark-skinned sailor, Chamorr asks, "Are ya injured? need healing?"

A flash of lightning lights up the sky, followed by a rumble of thunder.

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "Ah, more lightning.  Ugh."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "I... will try to remember."

Speaking heartily to an old dark-skinned sailor, Chamorr says, "Been a rash a that lately."

An old dark-skinned sailor asks, "Are there others like me, who have been lost?"

Palantear rubs his chin thoughtfully.

Speaking heartily to an old dark-skinned sailor, Chamorr says, "Yer the fisrt one i run into."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "I recall there being others, but it's like a dream."

Speaking softly to an old dark-skinned sailor, Channell says, "Haven't seen any others'."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "How odd."

Lightning streaks down from the sky, crackling and charging the air.

Palantear gazes up into the sky.

Palantear grumbles.

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "I remember a place, of pure white stone.  There were so many people, and each of them was so happy to see me.  But I remember being very, very afraid."

Speaking heartily to an old dark-skinned sailor, Chamorr says, "Stand still, let Channel examine ya fer wounds."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "P... please."

An old dark-skinned sailor sits down next to some wide stone benches.

Speaking heartily to Channell, Chamorr says, "Check him over."

Channell softly says, "He seems okay."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "It comes in bits and pieces.  Sometimes I feel like I'm about to remember something, but then it just disappears, like it's hitting a wall in my mind."

Speaking heartily to an old dark-skinned sailor, Chamorr says, "Well, theres that, yer in one piece."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "I remember being together with many people, but not many were like me."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "Dwarves... elves... humans... half-krolvin... you name it."

An old dark-skinned sailor asks, "We were in some... place.  And they wanted us to... something... there was magic?  I think?  And many, many people in... robes?"

Speaking heartily to an old dark-skinned sailor, Chamorr says, "Could be anyplace this is a very diverse land."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "And then I remember... floating on the ocean."

Gentleman Hoorne just arrived.

Hoorne squints at an old dark-skinned sailor.

Hoorne deeply says, "My gods, Josef, there you are."

Hoorne waves to the sailor.

A sudden gust blows the rain at you in a stinging attack.

Hoorne deeply asks, "Is he... okay?  Where did you get off to?"

Hoorne shakes his head at an old dark-skinned sailor and clucks his tongue.

Chamorr glances at Hoorne.

Channell softly asks, "Just floating?"

An old dark-skinned sailor asks, "H... Hoorne?"

Channell softly asks, "Floating alone?"

An old dark-skinned sailor sways in place, his eyes crossed.

Hoorne deeply says, "I think I can explain."

Hoorne sighs.

Hoorne deeply asks, "So, these storms have been bad, yeah?"

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "He dont remember much, but hes in one piece."

Palantear turns an inquisitive ear toward Hoorne.

Hoorne deeply says, "I've been traveling, barely, across these storms.  Dangerous stuff."

Ghrath turns an inquisitive ear toward Hoorne.

Channell nods at Hoorne.

Hecuba hugs Chamorr.

Hoorne deeply says, "But what I do know is that many, many people met on Ornath the other night."

Hecuba pushes on Ghrath without much success.

Hecuba turns to Hoorne and cheers!

Hoorne deeply says, "Word of that has reached my ears."

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr asks, "His name is joseph?"

Hoorne deeply says, "Josef, yes."

Hecuba offers Hoorne an iced cinnamon roll slathered in cream cheese frosting.

Hoorne declines Hecuba's offer.

Hoorne deeply says, "Sorry, no thank you."

Hoorne nods at Hecuba.

Hoorne deeply says, "Okay, let me explain."

Blushing slightly, Hecuba glances away from Hoorne as she drops into a demure curtsy.

Hoorne deeply says, "I was sailing between Kraken's Fall and here, on business."

Speaking heartily to an old dark-skinned sailor, Chamorr says, "Yer name is josef."

Hoorne deeply says, "When... I found him.  Floating.  Clinging desperately to some flotsam near Darkstone Bay."

An old dark-skinned sailor nods.

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "Darkstone."

Hecuba curtsies to an old dark-skinned sailor.

Hoorne sighs.

Ghrath performs a distinctly dwarven bow to an old dark-skinned sailor.

Speaking to an old dark-skinned sailor, Hecuba asks, "Are you in need of anything?"

Hoorne deeply says, "So, let me back up."

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "Dont fall."

Hecuba giggles at Chamorr.

Hoorne deeply says, "The other night, a strange person met with representatives from across Elanthia.  Apparently, she was the herald of some bigwig Inquisitor from... and you're not going to believe this... a different *plane* of reality."

Hoorne sways back and forth.

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "I... inquisitor."

Hoorne nods to the dark-skinned sailor.

Hoorne deeply asks, "Exactly.  What do you remember, Josef?"

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "Inquisitor."

Palantear scratches at his beard.

Chamorr heartily says, "Gotta love inquisitors."

Pukk says, "Reality is subjective anyways."

Channell softly asks, "Different plane of reality?"

Pukk smirks.

An old dark-skinned sailor sways in place, his eyes crossed.

Freonzikte squints at an old dark-skinned sailor.

Hoorne deeply says, "Apparently so.  Not, like, some island, or fortress, or whatever."

Hoorne deeply asks, "But something outside of place and time, some place I can't even really fathom, right?"

Evko squints.

A boom of thunder blasts through the grey skies.

Channell nods at Hoorne.

Hoorne deeply says, "I know.  It's nigh unbelieveable.  But, seemingly, it is happening."

Channell softly says, "Like a dream, but not."

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "Like that ithzar plane a ew years back."

Hoorne deeply says, "Not the first time I am to understand.  But I lack broader historical insight."

Hoorne chuckles.

Hoorne deeply says, "Exactly, Chamorr.  Like that, maybe."

Vymmer grins.

Vymmer hugs Channell, who wraps him in a warm embrace.

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "N... nyessem."

Hoorne glances at an old dark-skinned sailor.

Hoorne deeply asks, "What was that, Josef?"

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "N... Nyessem.  I remember that name."

Lightning streaks down from the sky, crackling and charging the air.

Hoorne deeply asks, "Curious.  That is what the woman on Ornath, this herald I mentioned, called her home.  The home of this... Inquisitor, was it?"

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr asks, "Mean anything to you?"

Hoorne deeply says, "Not me specifically, but word has reached my ears of the meeting that took place the other night.  And what Josef here is saying meshes with some of the facts therein."

Chamorr heartily says, "Ahhh."

Hoorne ponders.

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "W... water.  Endless waves."

Channell softly says, "I need to rescue, sorry I'll be right back."

Hoorne deeply says, "There there, Josef."

Channell flags down a nearby urchin and exchanges a few words.  The urchin nods to Channell and takes off, with Channell in tow.

Hoorne sighs.

Mianyn waves to Hoorne.

Hoorne deeply says, "I sailed with this man once.  Not closely, mind you, but I recognize him.  So when I saw him... floating there... in the water, I had to help."

Hoorne deeply says, "Not that I wouldn't have helped some random person afloat."

Hoorne chuckles.

A rush of air blows through the area, bringing a sheet of heavy rain with it.

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "I have heard of that meetong from folks eho was there."

Hoorne nods at Mianyn.

Mianyn grins at Hoorne.

Hoorne deeply asks, "What have you heard?"

Hoorne squints at Chamorr.

Palantear turns an inquisitive ear toward Chamorr.

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "W... white walls, aglow."

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "Three days a door is gonna open to this plane."

Hoorne deeply asks, "Three days.  From two nights ago, then?"

Hoorne deeply asks, "So... tomorrow?"

Hoorne deeply says, "Yikes."

Chamorr nods.

Hoorne turns to face an old dark-skinned sailor.

Speaking deeply to an old dark-skinned sailor, Hoorne asks, "What else do you remember, Josef?"

A boom of thunder blasts through the grey skies.

An old dark-skinned sailor stares forward, not noticing the interaction.

Speaking heartily to Mianyn, Chamorr says, "I was talkin to Pup and Regwen, they were there."

Mianyn says, "Ooooh."

Mianyn nods at Chamorr.

Mianyn says, "Well hopefully it gets the rain to stop."

Mianyn grins.

Hoorne deeply asks, "They were?  Okay, well that's a relief, knowing responsible people were present.  I heard some of my Kraken's Fall friends were also there, so I'm guessing this isn't just a Landing Issue, or an issue for my town.  This is for... all of us?"

The ghostly voice of Reptilax says, "I need a Chrism.."

Mianyn says, "Im sick of the rain."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "A... all of us."

Mianyn grumbles.

Hoorne glances around the area.

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "Cant say im lookin forward to openin doors."

Hoorne deeply asks, "Reptilax is dead.  Were you also taken by... these people?"

Hoorne squints at Reptilax.

Channell softly says, "I think he was killed by a ghoul master."

The ghostly voice of Reptilax says, "I am distracted.. I need a Chrism... I'll pay."

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "Nahh, he just lead wif his head."

The ground trembles as rolling thunder resounds throughout the sky.

Vymmer chuckles.

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "I.. was afraid, but it wasn't their fault.  I think.  They..."

Hoorne deeply asks, "Not their fault?"

Hoorne squints at an old dark-skinned sailor.

Hoorne deeply says, "Curious."

Hoorne sighs.

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "What do you know about tjis door."

Hoorne deeply says, "Sorry to interrupt everyone's routine here.  I pulled this one out of the water, docked my ship, and went to attend to some matters."

Hoorne deeply says, "When I returned, he had vanished, and now I find him here."

An old dark-skinned sailor sways in place, his eyes crossed.

Tiad says, "Much orbs."

Hoorne deeply asks, "Orbs?"

Palantear says, "No no."

Vymmer quietly says, "We can get him cleaned up and a room at the inn and a hot meal."

Vymmer quietly says, "Maybe he will remember more after a nice rest."

Palantear says, "Orbs for chrisms."

Hoorne deeply says, "Ah."

Hoorne begins chuckling at Palantear!

Triex says, "And rum."

Speaking softly to Hoorne, Channell says, "I think he's a little confused so wandered off."

Lightning streaks down from the sky, crackling and charging the air.

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "You gonna take good care a him."

Speaking to Chamorr, Mianyn says, "Maybe he bumped his head."

Hoorne deeply asks, "Funny, because the correspondence I read from the meeting the other night mentioned orbs as well.  Great artifacts of power that apparently were being tested on... or by... our friend here, maybe?"

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "I... was not... strong."

Hoorne ponders.

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "Heard about that too, they gonna give us great power."

Speaking deeply to Chamorr, Hoorne asks, "You mention a door.  Do you have insight into what that means?"

The clouds light up in an array of blue, white, and violet hues.

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "I say, at what price."

Hoorne deeply says, "All great things come at a price.  Be it chrisms for the dead or artifacts of power for the already-powerful."

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "Portal openin all over the lands."

Hoorne deeply says, "All over the lands, you say."

Hoorne deeply says, "Then no one is avoiding... whatever is coming next."

Chamorr heartily says, "Thats what i heard, i wasnt there."

Hoorne ponders.

Hoorne deeply says, "I wonder if there's profit to be had in this."

Vymmer quietly asks, "Should we expect dangers coming out of the doors? or access for us to enter profitable realms?"

An old dark-skinned sailor asks, "H... Hoorne?  That you?"

Palantear asks, "Would that be wise?"

Alchon just went west.

Speaking to Hoorne, Mianyn says, "Always profit to be had."

Hoorne deeply says, "A fair question, Vymmer."

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "How can ya avoid something thats gonna happen."

The ground trembles as rolling thunder resounds throughout the sky.

Hoorne deeply says, "The herald of this... Inquisitor... she seemed fair but it was hard to tell.  She promised a collaboration, in theory."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "I... inquistor.  Yes.  I remember that word."

Mianyn peers quizzically at an old dark-skinned sailor.

Mianyn asks, "Is he the inquisitor?"

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "I like right where i am."

Vymmer quietly says, "I would like to meet these Inquisitors.. see what they would trade for the knowledge and power they offer."

Triex says, "There are ways to avoid something that's going to happen. For example, I avoided my first divorce by avoiding my first marraige."

Vymmer quietly says, "Nothing is free in this world.. it wil surely have a steep price."

Hoorne deeply says, "Seems like Josef here was indeed one of those lost in a fugue state.  Several more were returned apparently at this meeting on Ornath the other night.  There might be more out there, though, judging by my friend here."

Triex nods.

Hoorne nods in agreement at Vymmer.

Speaking heartily to Reptilax, Chamorr says, "Yer first born."

Palantear begins chuckling at Triex!

Leyann snickers.

Triex grins.

Mianyn giggles at Channell.

Hoorne deeply says, "Me also, Vymmer.  Although, frankly, the unknown is both exciting and terrifying.  If Josef here was left in a near-stupor, how will the rest of us manage."

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "Sorry."

Hoorne deeply says, "Although... my friend... you are no adventurer."

Hoorne grins at an old dark-skinned sailor.

Vymmer quietly says, "I say we send Chamorr in one of the doors with a rope tied around his waist."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "A... adventure."

Mianyn looks thoughtfully at an old dark-skinned sailor.

Vymmer quietly says, "He can scout it out and we can pull him back through if needed."

Mianyn giggles at Vymmer.

Hoorne deeply says, "Well, I do have lots of rope.  True enough."

Hoorne chuckles.

Vymmer quietly says, "Like 3 of us can maybe pull him back through."

Triex peers quizzically at an old dark-skinned sailor.

Vymmer grins.

An old dark-skinned sailor waves to Triex.

Mianyn says, "What if the rope breaks."

Mianyn frowns at Vymmer.

Speaking to Triex, an old dark-skinned sailor asks, "W... were you lost, too?"

Triex nods politely to the dark-skinned sailor.

Hoorne shakes his head at an old dark-skinned sailor.

Vymmer quietly says, "We use magic to reinforce the rope."

Hoorne deeply says, "No, Josef.  That is merely Triex."

Vymmer nods.

Triex grins.

Hoorne deeply says, "Rope jokes aside, I think the sentiment is right."

Triex nods in agreement at Hoorne.

Vymmer quietly asks, "An envoy perhaps?"

Hoorne deeply says, "We must not let a potential opportunity pass us.  We must act as the envoys to this new land, agreed.  But we also must care for each other in doing so."

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr asks, "What? send me in to find out?"

Mianyn nods at Chamorr.

Vymmer quietly says, "A team that can show strength and also compassion.. maybe also someone skilled at making deals."

Vymmer nods.

Speaking to Chamorr, Mianyn says, "With a rope that may or may not break."

Mianyn grins at Chamorr.

Hoorne deeply says, "I mean, are you willing?  I know others will go tomorrow.  But each and every person who voyages forth is a useful representative of Elanthia."

Hoorne deeply says, "Exactly, Vymmer.  EXACTLY."

Vymmer quietly says, "Our first impression might be extremely important."

Hoorne deeply says, "We do not know exactly what these people want.  We *do* know that their... magic?... is powerful and potentially dangerous, but they claim sincerety in their motives."

Mianyn nods at Vymmer.

Vymmer quietly says, "Where if we show strength.. they could see us a strong allies.. better discounts for willingness to aid them."

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "Acourse i am goin, but i will tryto watch the teams back, not lookin fer orbs."

Hoorne deeply asks, "We go, with open eyes, strong arms, and clear purpose?  To represent ourselves and Elanthia?"

Speaking to Vymmer, Mianyn says, "Or maybe that would spark their generosity."

Vymmer nods at Mianyn.

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "S... sleep."

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "Dont think i wont whack dem."

Hoorne deeply says, "Soon, friend, soon.  Let me just finish up with our friends here."

Vymmer quietly says, "We should send a gift."

Channell softly asks, "When are we suppose to go?"

Vymmer quietly says, "With the team."

Vymmer quietly says, "To show our good intentions."

Hoorne deeply asks, "A gift?"

Mianyn nods at Vymmer.

Palantear asks, "And where?"

Vymmer quietly says, "A gift is always a good first step."

Mianyn says, "Aye something nice."

Hoorne deeply says, "Unclear Vymmer.  Some time tomorrow, apparently, the way will just... open."

A sudden gust blows the rain at you in a stinging attack.

Mianyn says, "Maybe some baked goods."

Hoorne deeply says, "Their magic is so strong they can simply allow us passage, it seems."

Channell nods at Hoorne.

Speaking heartily to Mianyn, Chamorr says, "I am a gift."

Chamorr strikes a heroic pose.

Speaking curiously to Hoorne, Triex asks, "How did you come about this old sailor and managing to rescue him?"

Hoorne deeply says, "Well, the way they said it, they want... brace yourselves... test subjects."

Palantear nods.

Vymmer points at Chamorr.

Speaking softly to Chamorr, Channell says, "You are a gift, your wife might object to us giving you away."

Chamorr heartily says, "See."

Vymmer quietly says, "He's already been through every test imaginable."

Palantear says, "Ok. I'm count me out."

Vymmer quietly says, "He can take it."

Hoorne deeply asks, "It sounds spooky, but... I am not sure.  Open eyes, with the strongest of us going first?"

Hoorne chuckles.

Palantear mutters testsubjects.

Channell softly says, "Very strong."

Palantear points at Chamorr.

Palantear says, "I agree."

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "Not testin on me."

Triex nods.

Mianyn says, "Aye send Chamorr."

Hoorne deeply says, "After all, Josef here wasn't the hardiest... I wouldn't say his abilities are a fair representation of the Elanthian adventurer class."

Lightning streaks down from the sky, crackling and charging the air.

Speaking softly to Hoorne, Channell says, "Okay strong, we'll discuss brave later."

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "See, its good to have so many friends."

Hoorne deeply asks, "In fact, wasn't that specifically called out by our visitors?  That they had some... weaker... sorts like him fail their tests?"

Hoorne ponders.

Hoorne shrugs.

Hoorne deeply says, "I'll follow behind you all."

Hoorne chuckles.

Vymmer quietly says, "I am not afraid to try and fail."

Vymmer flexes his muscles.

Vymmer quietly says, "If it means access to power."

Speaking to Hoorne, Mianyn says, "Stay in the back with me and we'll share the snacks."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "P... power.  O... orbs."

Hoorne glances at an old dark-skinned sailor.

Hoorne deeply asks, "Orbs?"

Palantear blinks at an old dark-skinned sailor.

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "Silver.  Glorious.  I..."

Hoorne deeply says, "Curious."

A flash of lightning lights up the sky, followed by a rumble of thunder.

Artwick just arrived.

Hoorne deeply asks, "Josef... how did you end up clinging to bits of wood in Darkstone Bay?"

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "What have you heard, what can we expect."

Hoorne nods at Chamorr.

Hoorne deeply says, "While my friend considers that, let me consider your question."

Hoorne ponders.

Hoorne deeply says, "I know what you know.  I know of the woman that came to the meeting.  I know what she promised.  And I know people like Josef here have now appeared, "returned" to us as it were."

Hoorne deeply says, "This is more mysterious than even my most convoluted of plots, but probably with a higher potential of return."

Hoorne chuckles.

Lightning streaks down from the sky, crackling and charging the air.

Chamorr heartily says, "Ahhh, hes one of the tests."

Vymmer quietly says, "What about those of us who are lacking in the magical arts.. how can we possibly try to harness the power of these orbs without the training."

Hoorne nods at Chamorr.

Hoorne deeply says, "That seems plausible, but I can't know for sure."

Speaking deeply to Vymmer, Hoorne says, "Magic is shorthand.  This herald seemed to suggest that Elanthian adventurers, regardless of their skill sets, would be both welcome and just fine."

Vymmer nods.

Hoorne deeply says, "But only one way to know for sure, I suppose."

Mianyn says, "Well that's good to know."

Hoorne deeply says, "To see with our own eyes."

Speaking heartily to Vymmer, Chamorr says, "When they get done testin a probin ya, you'll want an orb."

Hoorne deeply says, "Maybe you'll become an orb."

Vymmer's face turns slightly pale.

Hoorne grins at Vymmer.

Mianyn asks, "Probin!?"

Palantear gags.

Mianyn says, "Who said anything about probing."

Mianyn glances at Chamorr.

Vymmer quietly says, "If I become an orb I want Channell to have me."

Hoorne deeply says, "If there's probing, I might just let you go first."

Hoorne turns to face an old dark-skinned sailor.

Vymmer quietly says, "She always takes great care of me."

Speaking to Hoorne, Mercucius says, "Don't mention the arachnids."

Speaking deeply to an old dark-skinned sailor, Hoorne asks, "Do you... remember anything like that?"

Mianyn says, "If there's spiders im not going."

Mianyn folds her arms over her chest.

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "P... probe?  N.. no.  Water.  On the ocean.  After the bright place."

Minikins just arrived.

Chamorr heartily says, "How to serve man."

Hoorne deeply says, "Okay, so maybe no probing."

Vymmer quietly says, "Please tell these Inquistitors that if there are any arachnids involved.. or new species in their realm."

Hoorne shrugs.

Vymmer quietly says, "All deals are off."

Minikins waves to Mianyn.

Vymmer nods.

Vymmer quietly says, "No exceptions."

Hoorne begins chuckling at Vymmer!

Mianyn says, "I dont want no spiders or no probin."

Hoorne deeply says, "I am not a fan of spiders, either, yes."

Several lightning strikes cause the area to be blinded in a searing white light.

Hoorne deeply says, "Okay, so we're making a list of what we *don't* want in this potential partership.  No spiders.  No... probes."

Hoorne's face turns slightly pale.

Vymmer nods.

Vymmer quietly says, "Good start."

Mianyn nods at Hoorne.

Chamorr laughs!

Hoorne deeply says, "Well, Josef here seems in one piece, more or less."

Minikins turns to face Hoorne.

Hoorne squints at an old dark-skinned sailor.

Minikins asks, "What is happening here bout?"

Speaking deeply to an old dark-skinned sailor, Hoorne asks, "Do you recall any creatures?"

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "Right, ya think they'll listen."

An old dark-skinned sailor shakes his head.

Mianyn says, "That fella banged his head."

Mianyn points at an old dark-skinned sailor.

Vymmer quietly asks, "Did he go through to the other side? or did he somehow use an orb on our side?"

Vymmer peers quizzically at Hoorne.

An old dark-skinned sailor asks, "N... no.  Only people... like us... in robes?"

Minikins points at Hoorne.

An old dark-skinned sailor asks, "Maybe?"

Minikins says, "That one eh."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "Or was that the bathhouse."

Hoorne rolls his eyes.

Hoorne deeply says, "Great."

Minikins turns to face an old dark-skinned sailor.

Minikins turns an inquisitive ear toward an old dark-skinned sailor.

Mianyn says, "And he used to be an inquisitor or something."

Mianyn nods at Minikins.

Hoorne deeply says, "Minikins, sorry.  We're in a bit of a spot here."

Lightning streaks down from the sky, crackling and charging the air.

Minikins's face turns slightly pale.

Hoorne deeply says, "Josef here.  That's the sailor's name... I found him floating in the bay.  He apparently was one of those folks vanished by this... Inquisitor?  I believe she's called?  For whatever purposes."

Hoorne deeply asks, "I think that's a fair summary,  yes?"

Mianyn nods at Minikins.

Minikins asks, "And he is alive and washed up now eh?"

Minikins peers quizzically at an old dark-skinned sailor.

Hoorne nods at Minikins.

Hoorne deeply says, "Seems so."

Mianyn says, "Yes much better than my summary."

Vymmer quietly says, "We should search for more survivors."

Vymmer quietly says, "If more were taken."

An old dark-skinned sailor sways in place, drooling slightly.

Hoorne deeply says, "A bunch were repatriated the other night, yes."

Mianyn says, "And he looks like he needs stiff drink."

Mianyn nods to the dark-skinned sailor.

Hoorne deeply says, "Bound to be a few more that wash up over the coming who knows how long.

The clouds light up in an array of blue, white, and violet hues.

Minikins ponders.

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "Hes a sailor, i think he needs some rum."

Hoorne removes a small cup of dark rum from in his brocade overrobe.

Mianyn agrees with Chamorr.

The sailor moves out of Hoorne's way and glances at him.

Minikins says, "The Otter Queen will be busy."

Hoorne deeply says, "Maybe not."

Hoorne takes a drink from his dark rum.

Minikins asks, "Is there questioning happening?"

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "Q... questions."

Hoorne deeply asks, "What sort of questioning?"

Vymmer quietly says, "Some doors will appear tomorrow."

Hoorne deeply says, "What Vymmer said.  We're mostly rehashing at this point because, frankly, we lack insight."

Minikins asks, "To sail if the dolphins or otters helped get ya back?"

Vymmer quietly says, "We have been "invited" to join their realm for potential alliances."

Hoorne deeply says, "Which is kind of exciting if you don't mind me saying so, present fugue individuals aside."

Hoorne chuckles.

Speaking to Minikins, Mianyn says, "We dont know if they good or bad but... we are sending Chamorr."

A boom of thunder blasts through the grey skies.

Minikins ponders.

Hoorne deeply says, "Yeah.  They seem powerful but not outwardly malevolent.  Very, very strong, if they can just open a way for us all to visit them in their plane of reality."

Minikins says, "He can protect himself no doubt."

Mianyn nods at Minikins.

Minikins turns to face Hoorne.

Mianyn says, "We giving him a rope too."

Mianyn nods at Minikins.

Minikins asks, "As the sea folk traders did last year?"

Hoorne deeply says, "Yeah.  Rope for everyone.  Or at least go together in a group."

Mianyn grins at Hoorne.

Vymmer quietly says, "We should bring an orb back for testing.. to see how it reacts to the magic in our realm."

Vymmer quietly says, "There could be unforseen consequences."

Hoorne deeply says, "I must confess, this has caught me a little flat-footed.  I typically pride myself on knowing things.  I have no idea what happens next, and that scares me."

Mianyn says, "Oh and if Vymmer is turned into an orb."

Mianyn says, "He goes to Channell."

Mianyn nods at Minikins.

The clouds light up in an array of blue, white, and violet hues.

Hoorne deeply says, "But."

Hoorne deeply says, "I am increasingly confident."

Hoorne deeply says, "After talking to you all."

Hoorne deeply says, "Since I feel better than Elanthia will be sending its best."

Vymmer quietly says, "Well we should spread the word so people are not caught unprepared tomorrow."

Hoorne deeply says, "I will rally my friends in Kraken's Fall to help, if they're willing."

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "We be sendin da hooligans."

Minikins says, "Yardie and Tabubu certainky."

Hoorne deeply says, "Agreed.  We should let people know that, while they need not necessarily be afraid, be wary and go together.  We are stronger together, after all."

Vymmer quietly says, "We might have some older folks miss a beat if they see a strange door appear."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "T... together."

An old dark-skinned sailor stands up.

Hoorne deeply says, "Easy there, Josef."

Hoorne nods to the dark-skinned sailor.

Hoorne nods at Vymmer.

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "You takin josef wif ya."

A rush of air blows through the area, bringing a sheet of heavy rain with it.

Hoorne deeply says, "I am certain that, once it becomes clear what is happening tomorrow, word will spread like wildfire."

Vymmer nods.

Hoorne deeply says, "Yeah I'll take Josef when I depart."

Minikins says, "My folks did not fare well in other realms for a great time."

Hoorne deeply says, "He can come home to Kraken's Fall with me."

Minikins shudders.

Hoorne deeply says, "He's not from anywhere, but everywhere."

Hoorne chuckles.

Chamorr nods.

Vymmer quietly says, "We will take good care of any more survivors we find."

Vymmer nods at Hoorne.

Vymmer bows respectfully, his eyes fixed firmly on the ground.

The flower girl sits down to rest and carefully rearranges her dress.

Mianyn agrees with Vymmer.

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "Let us know if ya find out more."

Hoorne deeply asks, "Yes.  Please do keep an eye open for others who might be in a fugue state, including anyone that might yet remain... in... what was their home called again?"

Hoorne squints.

Hoorne deeply asks, "Nyessem?"

Hoorne deeply says, "Hm."

Vymmer quietly asks, "Do we have any inclination they might have sent some scouts over to our realm?"

Veneyeth raises an eyebrow in Hoorne's direction.

Minikins waves a hand at the flower girl, shooing her off.

Hoorne deeply says, "There may be more Elanthians yet to find, so that at least is worthy of our time."

Hoorne nods at Vymmer.

Hoorne deeply says, "Yes."

Hoorne deeply says, "From what I have read, they already have a foothold here in Elanthia... somewhere."

Minikins asks, "Shall we search the beach?"

Vymmer's jaw drops.

Hoorne deeply says, "And I don't doubt that, if they can find us here, they can find us anywhere."

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "We will keep a weathered eye fer them."

Hoorne deeply says, "But, to be clear, they profess fair intentions."

Hoorne deeply says, "So I want to give them a chance to prove it."

Mianyn says, "Im not sure if i like them finding me anywhere."

Mianyn shivers.

Hoorne deeply asks, "Trust, but verify, ya?"

Vymmer nods.

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "Swing first ask questions later."

Khaell says, "Powers rise and fall constantly against the walls of the landin.  As many have come to take this place as years I've lived.  Another will not alter my course."

Hoorne deeply says, "Ha.  I like your attitude, but be careful.  These folks strike me as... powerful."

Speaking to Chamorr, Mianyn says, "That's always been my motto."

Speaking softly to Chamorr, Channell says, "That is an absolute warrior response."

Hoorne deeply says, "Perhaps negotiation is more prudent."

Minikins says, "Give em poison food first. Then the antidote."

Vymmer quietly says, "That's the best way to know how strong they are."

Vymmer quietly says, "See how hard they hit back."

Vymmer quietly says, "Chamorr can take it."

An old dark-skinned sailor says, "H... Hoorne... rest."

Triex sadly says, "That survivor isn't the real mystery, he's more-so proof of A mystery."

Hoorne deeply says, "Okay friend, okay."

Mianyn reaches out to pat the dark-skinned sailor and quickly stops.

Hoorne deeply says, "I am going to return Josef to my ship so he can sleep."

Speaking curiously to an old dark-skinned sailor, Triex asks, "You've seen many strange people in your travels. Have you ever met a civilization that wasn't evil, wasn't good, but simply had different ideas about what people are for?"

Mianyn nods at Hoorne.

Mianyn says, "Good idea."

Minikins rubs her hands together, smiling slightly as she glances at an old dark-skinned sailor.

Hoorne deeply says, "Thanks for helping him until I could find you all."

Hoorne deeply says, "Sorry for the trouble."

Vymmer quietly says, "We shall spread the word."

Speaking softly to an old dark-skinned sailor, Channell says, "Rest well."

Mianyn says, "No trouble."

Speaking understandingly to Hoorne, Triex says, "Understandable, but so many questions still."

Minikins turns to face an old dark-skinned sailor.

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "Thanks fer the info, we will be ready."

Hoorne deeply says, "Yeah.  This is very uncertain, and that is scary... but..."

Hoorne grins.

Minikins says, "Not everyone wats to brawl with ya."

Hoorne deeply asks, "Opportunity abounds?"

Hoorne shrugs.

Minikins begins chuckling at Hoorne!

Minikins says, "But what manner of opportunity."

Hoorne deeply says, "Any way.  Storms or no, I make with the tide.  Back to Kraken's Fall with my friend here."

Hoorne deeply says, "Thank you all for helping me and discussing this situation."

Khaell says, "Opportunity to bury more who would bring ill will to the lands."

Minikins curtsies to Hoorne.

Minikins curtsies to an old dark-skinned sailor.

Sweeping his arm outward, Vymmer bows low in a grand fashion before Hoorne.

Speaking to Hoorne, Mianyn says, "Nice to see you and thanks for the heads up."

Hoorne points northeast.

Speaking heartily to Hoorne, Chamorr says, "Always welcome."

Minikins says, "Get the water out."

An old dark-skinned sailor asks, "T... time?"

Hoorne nods to the dark-skinned sailor.

Hoorne deeply says, "We depart, old friend."

The ground trembles as rolling thunder resounds throughout the sky.

An old dark-skinned sailor just went northeast.
