Cooking (liquids)
Various liquids can be cooked via the Stovetop cooking system. Liquids include hot chocolate and oatmeal. Recipes were first available at the Holiday Markets and Hearthstone Cookery in 2025.

Gathering Ingredients
Using a cooking pot, put in ingredients as per the recipe. Each instance of an ingredient is a use of the source take out your ingredient and PUT it into the bowl, if it is a multi use ingredient it will take a "charge" and put some in the bowl for you.
You may also use a pantry to store your ingredients. If you PUSH a recipe card at the pantry, it will assess whether you have all ingredients and if so, will assist you in adding the correct ingredients to the pot ready for you to cook.
Cooking
PUT the pot on your stove. LIGHT the stove. Pay attention to the messaging to time your cooking. Too little is under cooked, too much is burnt, get it just right. TURN the pot to complete the cooking creation.
Additives
You may choose to add one or two flavor additives to the finished product after cooking and prior to serving.
Toppings
Maple syrup and whipped cream are available as Finishing Touches to add to your pancakes to personalize them to your tastes. A Butter churn can provide fresh butter. The Jammy Juicer also lets characters make a wide variety of compotes and syrups to complement oatmeal as well.

PUSH the pantry to continue. >push pantry Noting that you have everything you need to make the recipe for hot cocoa, you grab a cast iron pot and add the necessary ingredients, bringing them together into a cast iron pot. >put my pot on stove You place a cast iron pot atop a cast iron stove, carefully positioning it to be centered over the heat source. >light stove You rub a small rune incised into the side of the cast iron stove and a healthy flame springs to life inside the stove. > Waves of heat distort the air around the cast iron pot. Waves of heat distort the air around the cast iron pan. Faint waves of heat rise above the cast iron stove, the fire burning inside casting a dancing reddish-orange glow through its grate. Waves of heat distort the air around the stove top oven. >turn pot on stove Using a striated olivewood spoon, you slowly stir the contents of the cast iron pot, easily gliding through the concoction. The result is some hot cocoa. Roundtime: 5 sec. > >ext stove You slide the grate feeding air into the cast iron stove shut, cutting the flame inside off from its life-giving air. >analyze cocoa in pot on stove This hot cocoa is a cooked item. It can take up to two additives to the hot cocoa while it is inside the cooking pot in order to flavor the finished product. This has no items mixed into it. The hot cocoa is ready to be ladled out. You could GET the cocoa to take a serving to eat. You could also hold the pot containing the cocoa and EMPTY the pot into a bowl or plate for serving. >put my leaves in cocoa in pot on stove You are about to add your peppermint leaves to the cocoa, adding the sharp, cool taste of peppermint with clean undertones. If this is correct, please repeat the command. >put my leaves in cocoa in pot on stove You add all of your peppermint leaves to the hot cocoa. That was all of it! You incorporate the peppermint into the hot cocoa. You could TWIST the cocoa to adjust the plating of the dish. >analyze cocoa in pot on stove This hot cocoa is a cooked item. It can take up to two additives to the hot cocoa while it is inside the cooking pot in order to flavor the finished product. This has one item mixed into it: peppermint. You could TWIST the cocoa in order to change how the final dish looks. Options: sweet, sharp, sharp-smelling, cool, cool-smelling, clean, peppery, peppermint-infused, peppermint-laced, peppermint-scented, peppermint-flavored, peppermint-laden The hot cocoa is ready to be ladled out. You could GET the cocoa to take a serving to eat. You could also hold the pot containing the cocoa and EMPTY the pot into a bowl or plate for serving. >twist cocoa in pot on stove You adjust the seasoning of the hot cocoa, settling on some peppermint-infused hot cocoa. >get pot from stove You remove a cast iron pot from on a cast iron stove. >empty my pot into serving bowl Using a striated olivewood spoon, you scoop some peppermint-infused hot cocoa out of a cast iron pot and into a serving bowl. >put pot on pantry You put a cast iron pot on a small pantry. >clean pot You wipe out the inside of the cast iron pot, rubbing the metal in tight circles as you meticulously clear away any lingering residue. >get cocoa Using a striated olivewood spoon, you scoop a serving of peppermint-infused hot cocoa out of a serving bowl. >drink my cocoa You take a drink from your hot cocoa. The hot cocoa has a gentle, mild chocolate flavor followed by notes of sharp, cool peppermint. You have 6 quaffs left.
