Wyrdeep Forest, a great expanse of old forest between the Barony of Bourth and the Dragonspine Mountains, has remained virtually untouched by civilization. It is said to be protected by the fey. Some "wild" elves who are not part of the Elven Nations live on the fringes of the forest.
