To BREATHE is to inhale and exhale the surrounding air.

Where [style] is one of the following:

SLIGHT FAST  SLOW   BLUE OUT  CATCH QUIET LOUD BORED
PAIN   ANNOY FIERCE FEAR SELF DRINK HOLD  ANTICIPATE

Usage

Style First Third
None You take a deep breath. XXX takes a deep breath.
Slight You breathe in slightly. XXX breathes in slightly.
Fast You breathe rapidly, your nostrils flaring. XXX breathes rapidly, her nostrils flaring.
Slow You breathe very slowly and deliberately, calming yourself. XXX breathes very slowly and looks much calmer.
Blue You hold your breath until you nearly turn blue! XXX holds her breath until she looks like she's going to turn blue!
Out You let out a long, contemplative breath. XXX lets out a long, contemplative breath.
Catch You pant, trying to catch your breath. XXX pants, trying to catch her breath
Quiet You breathe as quietly as you can. XXX breathes almost without making a sound.
Loud You snuffle and gasp, making an enormous production out of simply breathing. XXX snuffles and gasps, making an enormous production out of the simple matter of breathing.
Bored You breathe heavily, bored. XXX breathes heavily, looking bored.
Pain You rapidly suck in air through your teeth in pain. XXX rapidly sucks in air through her teeth in pain.
Annoy You sharply inhale and exhale a heavy breath in annoyance. XXX sharply inhales and exhales a heavy breath in annoyance.
Fierce You inhale a deep breath through your teeth, snarling! XXX inhales a deep breath through her teeth, snarling!
Fear You gasp a quick breath in fear and surprise! XXX gasps a quick breath, obviously terrified!
Self You try desperately to catch your breath. XXX tries desperately to catch her breath
Drink You let out a long breath of alcohol-laden air. XXX lets out a long breath of air which reeks of alcohol.
Hold You hold your breath. XXX holds her breath.
Anticipate You watch in breathless anticipation. XXX watches the surroundings in breathless anticipation.
