Guide Article at Risk for Deletion

Hi there, KVOTHETBL. You recently created a new guide article, Voln For Dummies, that you cite in the article as being moved from Archive.org for the purposes of preservation. Thank you very much for noting the original authors and editors and providing a link to the Archive.org capture of the website, as well as adding the Spoiler template as the guide does cover in-game puzzles. However, I have flagged the article for a possible copyright violation. Gswiki:Policy's section on copyrights states that written works cannot be submitted without explicit permission or attribution as covered in the original owner's copyright license. Upon reviewing the link that you included to Archive.org's capture of the Arkati Archive, there is a statement on top of the website noting the following:

"Voln for Dummies is copyright 1999-2012, arkati.org. Use of this guide in any electronic or printed format without the express written permission of this site is a violation of copyright. If you wish to create derivative works from content of this guide, please send an email to loresinging(at)gmail.com. We're quite flexible with working with people who ask permission (basically, as long as you don't remove authorship or copyright information and include a link to this site, you're good). Information regarding Siegurd's Favor is not included in this copyright and may be freely used according to his terms."

I could not find any statement by you on the guide article or its talk page noting that you have received permission to replicate the guide on the Gswiki. If you have permission to do so, you will need to clearly state it on the article's talk page. If that information is not added within 7 days, the guide article will be deleted from the wiki. Please do not remove the {{moddelete}} template from the guide article. Another moderator or I will remove that template after your updates have been reviewed to ensure that they meet Gswiki:Policy requirements.
