Unlife

The Unlife is the power of true evil. It seeks to destroy and create chaos and to feed on that. It does not wish to simply kill, but to devour the spirit of the dying. A person or living beings worst fate is to not only die, but to have ones soul devoured.

Originally a ICE aspect of Gemstone III it was removed, but the concepts of evil it represented remain in the roleplay and perceptual aspects of the playerbase in how it confronts darkness and demonic powers.

Evil has no one true manifestation, but is a well-source that such darkness springs from.

Example: This massive, leather-bound book appears to be a copy of the ancient Tomes of Elanthia.

In the Common language, it reads: ...and the coming of the Unlife may take many forms. Some may garb themselves in shapes of terror and evil and dwell in the forgotten places of the world and in the realm of the dead. Others may come among you with secret words of power and mystic symbols to lure even those who would fight hardest against them.
