The Isle of Ornath is the location of the Library of Biblia, which is some distance from its Needle of Pentas. Very little is presently known about the wider isle and the library. The only part of the isle that has been seen is Pentas Avenue, which is lined with cypress trees blocking the view of the surroundings. This suggests a relatively temperate latitude, the location of the isle is unknown. The avenue is lined with high iron poles with bright frosted globes acting as street lights. The tiles of the lane itself are gold-veined marble, lined with colored rings along their edges, making patterns out of the symbol of Lumnis.

Places of Interest

The following are places on the isle that can be visited by adventurers. The Library of Biblia cannot be visited yet by them.

Needle of Pentas

The Needle of Pentas is a spire run by an order of Lumnis devotees. It is made of travertine, which is limestone, so it is white against the night sky. The colors red, black, blue, and green symbolically reflect off it. Quintuple overlapping rings are inlaid on the glass-like walls on either side of the entrance doorways. The interior foyer in contrast is made of granite, with five archways leading to separate gardens:

The central staircase has a view of a single corresponding garden at each level. The apex of the Needle of Pentas has balconies corresponding to each ring of Lumnis. These contain teleportation disks that provide magical transport to domes on the surface of Liabo where visitors are tested with puzzles and questions. The monks are dedicated to knowledge for all, not associated with the Library of Biblia.

Agora Promenade

Agora Promenade is located on the cliffs beneath the Needle of Pentas and opened on three sides to a sweeping view of the ocean. Railings trail along the outer edges of its creeping thyme and travertine pathways, which are lined with pennants that snap in the sea-born breezes that keep the tropical island cool. Ornate facades are carved directly into the marble-like facing of the cliffs, providing entry to the many shops and residences along the bright and cheery promenade.

Social circles are prevalent through the southern escarpment. Two seating areas with ocean views, a cushioned seating area surrounding a glass fire-box, a fountain, and two eateries are just some of the many things you will find within the promenade.
