News has reached Wehnimer’s Landing that the sister of former mayor Walkar Wellington will be arriving into town, roughly sometime this week on the Eve of the Huntress. It is known, for Walkar’s own tales of the past, that he and his sister had been close as children, and their childhood took a bad twist of fate when Walkar, as a young boy, accidently killed his father in an act of protecting his sister from further abuse. It was an action that alone would set Walkar onto a path with the Jantalarian army and ultimately bring him to Wehnimer’s Landing years later.
Little is known of Abygail Wellington, save for that she is a member of the Keepers of the Golden Key, a devout group of Lorminstra followers dwelling in a temple nestled within the Dragonspine mountains in the Barony of Dragach. It is said that Abygail has just recently learned of Walkar’s death which happened nearly a year ago, because word is often slow to reach the Temple in Dragach, and Abygail herself is said to travel more often than not. It is expected that she will wish to visit the site of Walkar’s grave and perhaps speak to those who could share memories of her brother.
