Lining one wall of the spacious wagon is a narrow table covered with vases of various shapes and sizes, all filled with bright flowers. Bunches of blossoms peek from inside baskets hanging from the rafters, their rich colors creating a brilliant canopy. Standing to one side of a small painted door is a large wooden crate overflowing with a wide variety of gardening tools.

Weaving

In the large wooden crate you see: a pair of steel shears wrapped with leather, a small steel-tipped lathe with a hoarbeam handle, a pair of narrow steel scissors etched with a blooming rose, an etched azure leather belt, a pair of small steel snips with a suede-wrapped handle and a slender steel awl with a spiraled hoarbeam handle.

You analyze the steel shears and sense that the creator has provided the following information:

A pair of steel shears wrapped with leather can be used to turns strips of skinning items into items that can be woven.
You analyze your steel shears and sense that it may be altered with either a long or show description. Based on the design, you realize that changing the noun would be impossible. While the material it is made out of may be changed, you sense that making it anything other than metallic would be useless and would weaken the integrity of the shears.

Analyze:
This is a tool that can be used to change a gem into a bead with the weaving script attached. You can POINT the lathe at a gem to see what the result would be and CUT the gem with the lathe to make a bead.

Important Note: The following gems will only ever have their natural noun as the noun of the woven item a small steel-tipped lathe with a hoarbeam handle creates: egg, fang, fishscale, pebble, pearl, saewehna, seashell, shell, talon, tooth, thorn, tusk, and wheel

Metallic dust will transform into a "metaltype-dust" and then the new woven item noun. For example: a pinch of gold dust will transform into "a gold-dusted bead".

The following items will never be transformed:
Scripted, Some Rift Gems, Ambergis, or Plinite

This lathe is not unlocked, therefore the noun of your gemstone when becoming a woven item will always work out to be (gem-article) (gem-noun) bead.

You have selected the following style to be created for a weaving item:(gem article) bead

A small steel-tipped lathe with a hoarbeam handle is currently 1 of 2 tiers.

This steel-tipped lathe may be altered with either a long or show description. The noun cannot change. The material it is made out of may be changed, but it must remain something metallic. It can also be rubbed.
