[The Painted Talon]
Neatly arranged with a lineup of colorful miniature bottles, the entire back wall is fashioned from a set of polished ebonwood racks. Well-featured in the foreground of the room are a wide-set spalted maple cabinet and a stately carved cedar stand stocked with fabric wares. The walls are interspersed with scintillating bronze and copper tendrils woven into the dark woodwork, highlighting the warm glow of several glass-domed beeswax candles that are alight about the shop.
Obvious exits: east, out

The wagon's heart opens to a hourglass-shaped room, with the high-reaching walls cloaked in jade and onyx brocaded silk. Fluently leading customers to a spade-footed black willow display and a mirrored dark walnut bureau, a curved pathway continues towards some glass-topped cases placed under numerous shadowy landscape-painted canvases. A flatwoven cloth-of-copper rug worked with tea roses separates the commodities from a pair of bronze-handled doors.

[The Painted Talon, Niche]
Delicate panels of sheer silk gauze outline a jewel-toned stained glass window on the back wall, situated above a copper-piped celadon velvet divan. Subtle herbal accords drift in the air of the compact sitting room, which is kept noticeably unadorned and orderly to give the illusion of more space.
