This is a portable darkbox.  You can PUT items inside, set a cost via WHISPER, and DROP the darkbox to allow other characters to pay for a chance to pull a prize or hit a booby trap.

You can also stack needle traps, jaws traps, and surprise breath mint candies inside the darkbox.

The opening of the darkbox that characters stick their hands into can be customized.

You might be able to have a talented merchant lighten the small darkbox for you or make it hold more items.
