The wind of the mountain whips through the icy landscape of jagged ice and defiant evergreens. A lone Giantkin takes refuge within a small made up of solid ice. The half remains of a saber-toothed tiger help to make up part of the walls of the wintry prison, along with various forms of foliage and accumulated earthen debris.
The Giantkin kneels within, unfurling a waxed leather map. He traces a route along a crude drawing of what appears to be Mount Aenatumgana and parts of the Dragon Spine. Small red dots litter the mountain range depiction. Several are smudged off, others marked with little snowflakes and a single one with a kilt.
“Aye, we are here,” The Giantkin turns towards the mouth of the cave. “Come Keri, it is time.”
A lithe yet massive snowy white tiger stalks in into the cave. She turns towards the remains of the tiger frozen in the ice and regards it briefly with curious eyes. Finally she lets out a low hiss and turns her attention back to the Giantkin.
He removes a parchment from within the folds of his kilt. It is a thick parchment, reinforced with a leather backing. He slowly unfurls it and looks it over.
Hail to ye Chieftain. By the honor of mah mother, She who could See, ah Roe’l son of, bring word of Icemule.
Ah time of great need is upon us once again. Great evil moves against Icemule and the Northern Realm. Ah ah hae saw days yet to come. Nothin’ to what mah mother could. But ah was shown. And so was the Mayor of Icemule. What comes is ah future of destruction to Icemule, to the lands and people around her. But we kin stop this.
Talliver Dabbings seeks to meet with the Wsalamir, along with the Giants of the Elements, and people who call the Northern Realm their home. We seek to create an alliance, ah nation of such, to hold back this evil and aid each other fir the future.
Consider this, Great Chieftain, tell the others of our clan and send word to Icemule. Talliver awaits.
~Roe’l Wsalamir.
The Giantkin nods slowly, rolls the parchment up and places it within a bone tube. He removes a fragment from a totem he wears, stares briefly at it, and drops it within as well, before he seals it with heavy wax.
“Take this home Keri. Our people will know ye, dinnae be afraid. And find me in Icemule when done.”
The Giantkin attaches the bone tube to the collar of the massive tiger. She considers the Giantkin briefly and roars before swiftly leaving the cave.
Pulling up a thick fur-lined kilt, the Giantkin braces himself and leaves the cave, to return to Icemule as there is still work to be done.
