Description:   Translucent crimson and black, a firestone displays a smooth, though irregularly shaped, exterior. Inside, the shiny black spots appear to move extremely slowly through a thick, glowing red liquid, almost as cooled spots of magma float atop the fiery liquid of an active lava flow. The gem's outside, however, is solid, and the stone radiates no heat whatsoever.
