Subject: Announcing the Summit Expression Faire
Our story thus far...
Somewhere in the northern Dragonspine, there existed a school for the advanced teaching of alchemy, prestidigitation, and thaumaturgy. Young wizards traveled from across the lands to study and practice with the greatest magical masters. Rare ingredients were shared, incantations were whispered around warm fires, and apprentices, in time, became masters themselves. But over the years, the halls grew silent. The students no longer came. The old masters moved on, or retired to the cold stone towers.
Until Sylinar, venerable professor and librarian, made it his mission to restore the college to its former greatness. The old elf opened his doors, eager to raise enough capital to fund his dream. Visitors came for services, souvenirs, shopping, and exploration. They befriended the old man and wondered over his "pet" griffin, Sebastian. They puzzled at Sylinar's odd remarks and the often strange and unexplained details they noticed within the tower. During the last visit, Sylinar hinted that he had work to do, and would not be available for months to come.
And now, the reason is revealed...
Master Sylinar is thrilled to unveil the most recent renovations to the long forgotten Summit Academy! Several faculty members will be offering their services to a limited number of adventurers at the Summit Expression Faire. Your ticket will grant you access to explore the open grounds, meet some of the faculty, and obtain 3 of the following services:
- Premade swears
- Premade specialty logon and logoff messaging
- Premade signature verbs
- Premade spell prep messages (available for single spells, entire spell circles, or all spell casting)
Choose from a lengthy list of choices, already reviewed and approved. The faculty will teach you your lessons during your visit!
Sylinar's Spire will also be open (including his shops), although the professor will not be offering his services at this event. The Archives (containing the enhancive hiding griffin pins) will not be accessible during the Summit Expression Faire.

Howdy folks,
Tickets are available for the inaugural run of the Summit Expression Faire! The Verbs and Logon / Logoff actions are not yet out of QC, so I can't share those yet, but I will get the list of returning actions posted right after this.

Subject: Summit Academy Grounds
For reminding and clarifying purposes!
When you arrive at the Academy (via MERCHANT) you will be dropped off in the Courtyard outside Sylinar's Spire (the same spot you arrived at if you visited the Spire for one of his events). From here, you will go north to the newly renovated grounds that our beloved librarian has reopened!
You can also explore the Spire itself, though obviously no services will be offered there during the Expression Faire. The Archives (where the awesome griffin enhancive hiding pins live) is open, but the pins are not there during events other than the Spire events themselves.
Sylinar's shops will be open. You can also purchase snacks from a peddler in the school's commons are, if you so desire.
Please look around and explore! The grounds have a lot of detail! I hope you enjoy this area half as much as I enjoy bringing it to you.

Subject: Tips for today's event!
With so many more people in Prime, I thought it would help for me to post a few tips...
When you arrive, you'll be in Sylinar's Courtyard. NORTH takes you to the main grounds. The Ellipse is the Academy's commons area. Picture a wheel with four spokes.
To the north is Sebastian House, for logphrases. There's food!
To the west is Brickburn Hall, for spell preps. Follow the smell of chalk.
To the east is Ostwicke Hall, for signature verbs. Acting lessons in the auditorium!
Be sure to visit the Lake past the Groundskeeper's College (further east of Ostwicke Hall). There's a lovely climbable tree.
If there's a wait for the service you want, feel free to go to another room and/or wander the grounds. We want everyone to have time to look around in the two hours, and if you won't lose your service if you're not in the room. You just need to have it before the end of the run.

Oh, and don't forget to visit Lake Sasalis! It's to the east of the Ellipse, past the Groundskeeper's Cottage. Climb that tree! Carve your name!

TENTATIVE PLAN:
Thursday, May 14. 7-9pm ET. Academy staff will stop working at 9pm (tickets will be limited to ~30 to make sure everyone's done by then), but the grounds will remain open until 9:30 for extra wandering, exploring, or shopping at Synlinar's.
We'll announce here when tickets are on sale!

This run will be Prime only. The Plat demand is far less, so we won't be doing them quite as frequently. We're definitely talking about working one in at some point, though, and I'll let you guys know when. If it turns out a lot of people really want a full run, have them post here so I know about it :)
