Chirasi Laceable Sleeves made their debut at the Driftglass Fayre in December 2025 on a standalone stall on the festival grounds. These are torso garments and sleeves that combine to change the long description of the garment.

The garments are styled in traditional Chirasi fashion with shoulder eyelets, and the sleeves can be laced on singly or in pairs in a variety of ways.

While intended to be combined, the torso items and sleeves can be worn separately as well.

Analyze

This shirt is part of the Chirasi clothing suite and can be worn alone or laced to a compatible sleeve or pair of sleeves. Garments with sleeves laced to them will have a composite long description.

Verbs: LACE, UNLACE, TWIST, WEAR, REMOVE
   - LACE sleeves and garments together to combine their descriptions.  Syntax: LACE {item 1} TO {item 2}
   - UNLACE a garment to remove its sleeves.  Syntax: UNLACE {item}
   - TWIST sleeves to adjust the connection phrase used in a garment's long description the next time the sleeves are laced to a garment.
   - TWIST a garment with sleeves already laced to it to change the connection phrase in its long description.
Torso items
Alteration guidelines:
  - The shirt its a garment worn on the torso, over the front, or as an undershirt, so base alterations are limited to adjective and noun only.
  - The noun must make sense explicitly with and without sleeves because the script will change the article to "a sleeveless" when sleeves are unlaced from it.
  - Good nouns for this type of garment include but are not limited to: shirt, blouse, tunic, dress, jerkin, and doublet. Please note that where this specific garment is worn may narrow your options; a doublet doesn't make sense worn as an undershirt, for example.
  - The shirt CANNOT be a vest, waistcoat, harness, apron, corset, bandolier, tabard, or anything else that doesn't make sense both explicitly with sleeves and when described as "sleeveless".
  - The shirt CANNOT have a show or long description.
  - The shirt should be composed of some manner of fabric, textile, or very flexible leather.
  - You can use the custom settings to elaborate on the design of your shirt, and those settings will be incorporated into the long description when laced.

Custom settings:
   descriptor:  "ebon-sheened"
   color:  "deep blue"
   material:  "velvet"

This is an example of how your shirt might look when laced with sleeves: "an ebon-sheened deep blue velvet shirt shoulder-laced to dagged grey silk sleeves"
Sleeves
Alteration guidelines:
  - The sleeves can have its article and adjective altered freely, but the noun must be either "sleeve" or "sleeves".
  - The sleeves CANNOT have a show or long description.
  - The sleeves should be composed of some manner of fabric, textile, or very flexible leather.
  - You can use the custom settings to elaborate on the design of your sleeves, and those settings will be incorporated into the long description when laced.

Custom settings:
   descriptor:  "dagged"
   color:  "grey"
   material:  "silk"
   laces:  "colorful yarn"

This is an example of how your sleeves might look when laced to a torso garment: "a deep blue velvet shirt shoulder-laced to dagged grey silk sleeves"
