Astrolabes are non-wearable fluff items originally released at Ebon Gate in 2008. They are navigational instruments used to take astronomical measurements of celestial bodies. An astrolabe can be permanently attached to a compatible neck support. This destroys the support and converts the astrolabe into a neck-worn accessory with a new long description. An astrolabe can only be strung once. Astrolabes and neck supports are now sold at Red Skies. Astrolabe The astrolabe begins as a non-wearable item. Using PUT ASTROLABE ON SUPPORT permanently attaches it to a compatible neck support, making the astrolabe neck-worn. Analyze Your brass astrolabe is a navigational instrument used to make astronomical measurements of celestial bodies. You may alter only the 15/15/15 of the astrolabe. If PUT onto an appropriately scripted neck-worn chain/string, the long description of the astrolabe will be permanently changed. This may only be done ONE time. Neck Support The neck support is a neck-worn chain, cord, ribbon, string, or similar item intended to be permanently attached to an astrolabe. It may only have a 15/15/15 description and cannot have a long or show description. The support is destroyed when combined with an astrolabe. Analyze This is an Astrolabe Neck Support. You could DROP an astrolabe on the string to string the astrolabe and make it neck-worn. Only the base 15/15/15 is alterable; a show or long description is not allowed.
