Subject: River's Rest Annual Pickle Festival!
It's that time of year again! Grammy Plonk is fillin' up her fish barrel and picklin' up her pickles. Come on down to River's Rest for the annual Pickle Festival!
The recipe contest will be on Saturday at 2 pm EST. Recipes can be submitted to gs4-xayle@play.net from now until Friday at midnight. Rules are as follows: you must supply a list of up to 10 ingredients, one of which MUST be pickled (pickled beets, pickled herring, pickles!), supply general cooking instructions, and two taste messages.
The poetry contest will be on Sunday at 4 pm EST. These do not have to be submitted in advance, but kindly keep them River's Rest Clean (which means kinda sorta mostly clean). If it would make Sal blush, don't do it.
Prizes will be awarded in each contest.
There will also be shops and merchants periodically throughout the weekend.
