Eman (prime)
You see Eman the Ranger of the North.
He appears to be a Half-Elf.
He is tall. He appears to be youthful. He has piercing steel grey eyes and tanned skin. He has short, thick black hair that has a slender braid at the temple adorned with a black feather quill-wrapped in red yarn and rawhide. He has an oval face, a straight nose and a neatly-trimmed beard.
He is wearing a burnt umber vultite medallion, a black long recurve bow with a dark green leather grip, a sleek faenor quiver containing a bundle of ipantor arrows, a polished red spinel earcuff, a rounded willow medallion etched with a soaring hawk, a hooded dark green cloak with a green oak leaf brooch, a turquoise-bound bronze badge, a fur-trimmed fel totem strung on a leather cord, a weathered leather backpack painted with a soaring hawk, a leather-edged hunter green corset vest, a hip-length soft black leather tunic, some glowing brigandine armor, some etched mithril arm greaves, a worn leather wrist guard, a wiregrass bracelet, a white feather-adorned wristlet, some ebon leather gloves with a sturdy wrist strap, a golden signet ring emblazoned with a sun-encircled fist, a carved stone ring inset with blue eostone runes, a shadowy black leather tool belt, a crimson silk sash covered in badges and medals, a shuttered faenor lantern charm, a gilded locus, a lacquered hip-satchel woven from green reeds, an enruned verdigrised bell dangling from an electrum chain, a small shadowy black velvet pouch, some reinforced black leather pants, some layered wolf hide leg greaves, a deep red ankle sheath wreathed with thorny black roots, and some shadowy black leather boots.
His Story:
As with all Half-Elves, Eman belonged to two worlds, yet could never truly claim either as his own.
He was born in Ta’Ardenia to Lys, a noble Elven lass who raised her son among her people. During his childhood there, Eman learned to read and write, studied the histories and customs of the Elves, and became fluent in their tongue. Yet for all that he learned, his Human blood forever marked him as different. He was a Half-Elf, and Ta’Ardenia could never truly be his home.
In time, Eman left his mother and journeyed to Dragach to live with his father, Halt, a seasoned Human Ranger. If Lys had taught him letters, language, and the ways of the Elves, Halt taught him the ways of the wild. Under his father's watchful eye, Eman learned woodcraft and tracking, how to hunt and survive in untamed country, how to move unseen through the forest, and how to wield both bow and blade. In time, he learned all that was required of a Ranger and began to walk the same path as his father.
Following in Halt's footsteps, Eman eventually joined the Guardians of Sunfist, taking his place among the same brotherhood his father had served. Though born of two peoples and raised between two worlds, Eman found in the life of a Ranger something that was wholly his own.
