The deep blue silk overhead has been painted to resemble the night sky, complete with moons.  Bronze lanterns dangle from the tent posts, creating pools of soft, flickering light.  Gold and blue velvet cushions heaped in the corners provide quiet places to rest.  You also see a bright copper cart with some stuff on it.

Qiana bows her head slightly toward Jaranzair as she drops into a deep respectful curtsy before him.

Speaking to Jaranzair, Kakoon says, "Good evening sir."

Speaking in Elven to Kakoon, Jaranzair says, "Good evening to you High Legionnaire."

The soft melodies of a silver-stringed harp and an alto recorder fill the evening air as the musicians begin a song echoing the soft breezes of spring.

Speaking in Elven to Kakoon, Jaranzair says, "I was speaking with the First Legionnaire to see if everything was in order for this evening."

Speaking in Elven, Jaranzair says, "Seems everything is."

The musicians end on a soft and gentle note.

Speaking to Jaranzair, Kakoon says, "Of that I have no doubt, she has always been detailed in what she does."

Speaking in Elven to Kakoon, Jaranzair says, "We take no chances this year."

Esana inclines her head.

Ziria nods once.

Speaking in Elven, Jaranzair says, "On the off chance the King does decide to come, I will be standing here regardless."

Gentle melodies flow forth from the musicians' instruments.

Ziria says, "I hope he is able to attend."

Speaking in Elven to Jaranzair, Esana says, "Your company is most welcome, sir.  Tis an honor to have you."

Speaking to Jaranzair, Kakoon says, "And should he not at least we were able to enjoy your company for the evening."

Ziria nods in agreement at Kakoon.

Speaking in Elven, Jaranzair says, "Thank you both."

Aendir's group just arrived.

You find yourself humming along to the music and catch yourself just as it ends.

Jaranzair takes a few steps towards the exit of the tent, but instead turns and stands next to it.  Giving him the best vantage point to view the room.

Lucrecea just arrived.

Speaking to Jaranzair, Kakoon says, "It's not often we get to see you on the parade grounds. Usually it's Lord Legionnaire Commander Cyik to make a comment on our movements or Lord Legionnaire Commander Velixa to discuss defence tactics."

Lynaera nods in greeting.

For the briefest of moments, Aendir's glance alights on the cart.

Lucrecea gazes at her surroundings.

Speaking in Elven to Lucrecea, Aendir says, "So good to see you again."

Speaking in Elven to Kakoon, Jaranzair says, "It is true, my talents are served elsewhere."

Lucrecea nods graciously at Aendir.

Esana clears her throat.

As the troubadours begin another set, several couples nearby begin a lively ring dance.

Aendir pours himself a glass of smooth bourbon.

Speaking in Elven, Lucrecea says, "And you as well.  Good evening."

Lucrecea smiles.

Ziria smiles at Esana.

Qiana smiles.

Speaking in Elven, Aendir says, "Best of evenings to you, Miss Ruin."

Avawren nods graciously at Lucrecea.

Straightening his back, Aendir gives a formal, low bow to Kakoon.  He inclines his head as well, giving Kakoon a brief nod.

Speaking to Esana, Ziria says, "You did a wonderful job getting this together."

Kakoon nods to Aendir in greeting.

Speaking proudly in Elven to Kakoon, Aendir says, "High Legionnaire."

Speaking to Aendir, Kakoon says, "Good evening, I am happy to see that you were able to make it."

The musicians end on a soft and gentle note.

Speaking in Elven, Lucrecea says, "It has been some years since I have attended any balls in Ta'Vaalor.  I am pleased to see that they are still held."

    "The Wyvern's Honor would like to welcome everyone this evening for the third annual military ball.  It is wonderful to have you all, please feel free to enjoy the foods from the cart and the dance floor of course.  It is an event to make merry and celebrate the sacrifices of all military members who have taken up arms in defense of the fortress."

Speaking in Elven to Lynaera, Lucrecea says, "How lovely, and unexpected."

Avawren smiles at Esana.

Speaking to Esana, Ziria says, "The Wyvern's Honor is doing some wonderful things around the fortress.  Thank you for all of your hard work."

Ziria smiles at Esana.

As the tune finishes, the gathered listeners applaud gently.

Kakoon agrees with Ziria.

Speaking to Ziria, Esana says, "We do our best, and thank you."
