==Summary==

* Visiting merchants from Frontier Days begin taking down their tents, a few of them speeding up as shadowy figures lurk the alleys. Silver-beaked dark hooded figures move through the shadows between buildings, heading northward, then pounce from the shadows to attack the merchants! Sir [[Cryheart (prime)|Cryheart]]'s group moves to intercept, but Mayor [[Leafiara (prime)|Leafiara]] notes the similarities to the fake militia setup and breaks toward Shanty Town in anticipation of an attack, where a Knave ambush indeed shows up. Back on North Ring Road, silver-beaked dark hooded figures on the rooftops fire arrows down on the ones on the streets, as [[Mother]] says the ones on North Ring Road are not the [[Brotherhood of Rooks|Brotherhood]].

* As North Ring Road is cleared of attackers, Cryheart's group and the rest of the fighting moves toward Shanty Town while the Rooks fire arrows on the Knaves from the shadows. Some of the weaker of the Knave's forces advance back toward North Ring Road, where town guards clash with them.

* Fighting rages on in Shanty Town and on South Ring Road, but eventually crimson fires in the eastern side of town begin to light up. The blood acolytes' chanting is heard throughout the streets and they approach the Brass Tower, while others break off and attack Cryheart's group.

[Town Square Central]

This is the heart of the main square of Wehnimer's Landing.  The impromptu shops of the bazaar are clustered around this central gathering place, where townsfolk, travellers, and adventurers meet to talk, conspire or raise expeditions to the far-flung reaches of Elanith.  At the north end, an old well, with moss-covered stones and a craggy roof, is shaded from the moonlight by a strong, robust tree.  The oak is tall and straight, and it is apparent that the roots run deep.  You also see the Catienne disk, a plump furry mouse, the Kelstien disk, the Tasslehoff disk, a black-eared red and grey fox, a large acorn, the Arvega disk, a burlap sack, a large acorn, some wolifrew lichen, a frosted oatmeal cookie, a sugared barley and oat cake, some aloeas stem, a dirty crevice brew, a large acorn, a brackish green arrow, a sapphire-tipped arrow, a large acorn, a large acorn, a large acorn, a brown weedroot ale, a heavy backpack, a large acorn, a silver-traced carved mahogany cart with some stuff on it, an herbal remedy donation bin and some stone benches with some stuff on it.

Night guards and militiamen pass by, moving between the barracks and the guard towers at either end of the north road.  The broad cobblestoned way proceeds east and west, hugging the inside of the northern wall.  A sparse mix of citizens and visitors, including trappers and traders returning home for the night or staying out to ply some late business, walk among the ever-vigilant guards.  You also see the Xanthium disk, a squalid canvas pavilion and a small warehouse.

Leafiara says, "Or, for that matter, the Blood Son merchants or Lich King merchants..."

Cryheart says, "Well..that was quick."

Xanthium says, "Good to know they have the town's interests at heart."

Puptilian says, "Someone hit me lightly."

A well maintained and healthy garden occupies the entirety of the courtyard.  The air here is cool and crisp, but the bulk of the monastery shelters you from wind and makes the air bracing instead of chilling.  In the center of the garden is a natural spring bubbling up several inches above the surface of the encircling pool of crystal clear water.  A large stone and iron gate blocks the entrance to the monastery flanked by a statue of a woman carrying a crystal staff and a set of crystalline keys facing a second statue of a kneeling young man bedecked in battle-worn black chain armor.  You also see a massive snowy white tiger, a brown wolf, a pale-faced coppery barn owl that is flying around, a charming aurora spirit that is flying around, a plump furry mouse that is sitting, a scorched black marble bench with some stuff on it and a large fel tree.

Time and tide have not been kind to the dilapidated shacks along this dreary stretch of riverfront beach.  The rotted and weatherbeaten planks, the patched roofs and the mud lanes cast a melancholy pall of neglect here, in contrast to the lively sounds of the river, drifting over from the dark shore that lies directly to the east.  To the north, occasional sounds of sawing and banging emanate from the boatyard.  You also see a star sapphire, a star sapphire, a piece of cloudy glass, an uncut emerald and a broken wooden fence.

This is the heart of the main square of Wehnimer's Landing.  The impromptu shops of the bazaar are clustered around this central gathering place, where townsfolk, travellers, and adventurers meet to talk, conspire or raise expeditions to the far-flung reaches of Elanith.  At the north end, an old well, with moss-covered stones and a craggy roof, is shaded from the moonlight by a strong, robust tree.  The oak is tall and straight, and it is apparent that the roots run deep. Many of the travellers through this part of town appear to be pilgrims, priests and monks.  They travel to and fro, moving along the quiet road to the north.  The hoot of an owl echoes from somewhere beyond the palisade wall.  You also see a grey-armored half-elven brigand, a grey-armored half-elven brigand and a Wehnimer's runner.

A corroded bronze gate stands high across the path, blocking further travel. Cryheart says, "Let's head to the tower."

An animated red-masked robed blood acolyte begins to vibrate and seemingly shrink in size.  It quickly becomes apparent that it isn't just a trick of the eye as the reduction in the acolyte's size rapidly accelerates.  Soon he diminishes to nothing but a tiny black void that is sucking all the air out of the area!
When the implosion subsides, an uncut ruby and some silver coins are all that remain of the robed blood acolyte.



[...and I'm actually going to end it there. Kenstrom was having too much lag to continue, so things suddenly got quiet. A suspicious Hap and Leafi headed to respectively Burrow Way and the catacombs to check for a Knave ambush, but of course nothing. Everyone convened at the Brass Tower and there was a tiny wave of enemies, followed by screams in Shanty Town, but nothing came of it.

On the bright side, the town council finally approved Leafi's request for a trash can in TSC!]
