=Summary=

Early in the afternoon, a scouting eyeball from [[Tyrrax]]'s fleet approaches the [[Wehnimer's Landing|Landing]] and spots [[Amos]]' ships docked, leading town defenders to realize that Tyrrax will assume the truce has been broken.

And, indeed, later in the night the [[krolvin]] mount an attack. Town defenders, [[Brotherhood of Rooks|Rooks]], militia, town guards, and armigers battle back, as do the constructs firing pylons from one of Amos' warships, and eventually Tyrrax comes to the Stone Baths with [[Kharusa]] in tow to parlay again.

Marshal [[Stormyrain (prime)|Stormyrain]] and others relay that the seemingly broken truce is because Amos wasn't aware, so Tyrrax asks who will let Kharusa in to verify that. Councilor [[Leafiara (prime)|Leafiara]] agrees. Kharusa looks for an opportunity to kill Tyrrrax but can't find it, so she seeks her information, blowing up Leafi's head in the process. She learns everyone is telling the truth that Amos didn't know, but also discovers Amos' revelation that he knows where Praxopius' other treasures are stored.

Tyrrax says Mayor [[Thadston]] has two more days to formally respond to his truce and makes a demand--then rewords to a "suggestion"--to turn Amos over to him so he can get information about Praxopius' caches and potentially find the Lalk Morgil. He'll return him alive if need be.

This is the heart of the main square of Wehnimer's Landing.  The impromptu shops of the bazaar are clustered around this central gathering place, where townsfolk, travellers, and adventurers meet to talk, conspire or raise expeditions to the far-flung reaches of Elanith.  At the north end of the space, an old well, with moss-covered stones and a craggy roof, is shaded by a strong, robust tree.  The oak is tall and straight, and it is apparent that the roots run deep.  You also see the eel-encircled Innez disk, an animated jeddart-axe hovering in mid-air, a sleek spotted brown jackal, the Vrem disk, a splay-toed riverine kuvasz, the Nalver disk, the Vorxblight disk, the Aventon disk, the Saraphenia disk, the Kellafar disk, a wrathful spring spirit that is flying around, a crystal amulet, an opalescent glass jar, an opalescent glass jar, a gold and cobalt glass potion, a crystalline flask containing a silvery potion, an opalescent glass jar, a small totem head, an exceedingly dry split log, a wrapped real gem-shaped gift, a silver-traced carved mahogany cart with some stuff on it, a round silver-banded barrel, an herbal remedy donation bin and some wide stone benches with some stuff on it.

The dock's planks are dull and weathered from the salt spray of many seasons.  Northward beyond the massive sea gates, a flock of ice geese passes, silhouetted against the sky over the waters of Darkstone Bay.  The hulk of a derelict coastal sailer is tethered to the end of the pier. Speaking to Lunatick, Yundah says, "Some would say it's going to be bad.  Some would say not enough.  Others, they will just shrug and run off."

Saraphenia asks, "I thought Amos was fired?"

A small, shaded park fills an old vacant lot behind a row of buildings, the bright lamplight from the square filtering through the passage to the north to illuminate the area with a soft glow.  A weatherworn grey marble statue of a stocky human in pioneer's clothing overlooks the park, his stone hat encrusted by the gifts of decades of passing birds and his right hand half-upraised as if it once held some now-missing object.  You also see a fat calico cat, some acantha leaf, a knapsack, a short sword, a wooden shield, a tall black bulwark tower, a mass of charred building remnants and some ornate wrought iron benches.

The scents of leather, weapon oil and hearty cooking fill the night air. [Temple, Altar]

The altar is plain, and bears only onyx bowls of smouldering incense and smoking paraffin.  Draped behind it is a cloth banner, appliqued with an ancient mystical pattern.  A legend is embroidered along the bottom.  On the far side of the room at the end of an aisle, you see two pillars.  You also see a large krolvin shaman and a large krolvin shaman.

This is the heart of the main square of Wehnimer's Landing.  The impromptu shops of the bazaar are clustered around this central gathering place, where townsfolk, travellers, and adventurers meet to talk, conspire or raise expeditions to the far-flung reaches of Elanith.  At the north end, an old well, with moss-covered stones and a craggy roof, is shaded from the moonlight by a strong, robust tree.  The oak is tall and straight, and it is apparent that the roots run deep. You note some treasure of interest and manage to pick up an acid-pitted brass strongbox but quickly realize you have no space in which to stow it.

You search the old warrior.

Suddenly a white light aura begins to form around a grizzled old warrior and a gentle breeze blows in softly from the east.  The light grows with such intensity that shadows disappear and you are forced to squint to keep your eyes open.  As if spoken from all around you, a tender female voice speaks, "Rise my worthy servant, you have many deeds left undone."  The words drift in the air for several seconds before the aura begins to fade.

Slowly the old warrior opens his eyes and works himself up to a kneeling position, uttering prayers to the mother goddess for several minutes.

The warrior stands up, seemingly alive again.

The warrior stands back up.

You notice as the old warrior forms the Symbol of Recognition.  He must be a member of the Order of Voln.
