Grishom Stone came to Wehnimer's Landing as a wealthy merchant from Mestanir in 5110.

Appearance

Background

Grishom first came to Wehnimer's Landing under the guise of a wealthy merchant from Mestanir, which was in truth partially correct. However, he was also a secret member of the Arcane Eyes, a group of dark and powerful summoners. He bought and restored Cholgar's Bathhouse, renaming it the Stone Baths. He heavily financed the renovations to the Landing Museum and built a small manor on an island off of Mist Harbor. He unsuccessfully ran for Mayor of Wehnimer's, but later resigned his campaign. His secret villainy tormented Wehnimer's Landing for over two years until his dark nature was finally exposed and his plans of creating a new urnon golem, after his last had been destroyed, were thwarted. He had been responsible for the death of many women and innocents in the town, manipulation of local politicians, the release of Drangell, and even practicing dark blood magic to create a small army of flesh golems made in his image. In the end, with the selfish aid of Elithain Cross, a group of adventurers was able to stop Grishom and turned him into stone before shattering him into hundreds of pieces.

His father was Sabasation Stone. Outside of merchant work at festivals he promptly purchased the Bathhouse, remodeling it as Stone's Baths where he kept an office as well as paying for renovations to the Wehnimer's Landing museum. He was active socially at events, balls and public gatherings often attending in formal dress with locally prominent women on his arm. His preference was green eyed, black haired females.

He had a home on an island near Mist Harbor and Glaoveln called Erythro island that was later revealed to be a living island. It was destroyed when Grishom was turned to stone and was presumably killed.

He is a practitoner of blood magic.

Althedeus had attached itself to him, allowing him to survive when Grishom drowned during a shipwreck prior to him originally coming to Wehnimer's Landing. When Althedeus was destroyed during the events of Cross Into Shadows, Grishom still somehow managed to survive the demons removal from him at the end of 5114 and would later return.

He later created the Deadfall in 5115 through it's black blood trees to empower him with blood sacrifice.

After Kragnack is killed in 5118 on Glaoveln, Grishom appears possessing the legendary Star of Khar'ta, opens up a portal to Wyrdeep to capture elven druid Briarstorm, who eventually goes willingly.

He appeared briefly in 5121 to offer to free Thrayzar's mind from it's imprisonment because in the future, he has a part to play, but was refused.

Currently, he is rumored to be in the Sea of Fire or the Deadfall Forest further amassing power.
