'''Sandstorm''' creates a focused whirlwind that builds over time to a raging sandstorm that will periodically attempt to directly damage its target. The storm's damage cycles will continue until either the target dies or the storm dissipates. [[Injury|Injuries]] caused by the storm will be either [[impact critical table|impact]] from blowing sand or [[unbalance critical table|unbalance]] from the swirling winds. Additional sandstorm casts (stacking) directed at the target will speed up the summoning process and also increase damage.  Moving to or casting a [[sanctuary]] will prevent the cycles from causing damaging and is thus an effective defense against the spell after its initial cast.
