Shadowguard was a Vaalorian fortress used in the Undead War during the Battle of ShadowGuard. The garrison of Shadowguard was known as the Legion of the Shadow.[1]
A cathedral stood at the center of the fortress.
Recent history
2002: The Second Battle of ShadowGuard occurred during the Griffin Sword War in 5102, fought between elven forces and adventurer allies against the undead of the Dark Alliance.
2014: As part of the Painful Memories storyline by GM-Mazreth with some minor tie-ins to the Cross Into Shadows storyline, mages from Ta'Illistim opened a portal to the ruins of Shadowguard from Lormesta to Charlatos 5114 (January-March 2014) largely involving Tiope.
