Analyze

You analyze your instrument case and sense that the creator has provided the following information:
~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Busker's Instrument Case ~*~*~*~*~*~*~
The instrument case is a useful item for buskers in which players and townsfolk can drop coins when it is open and on the ground.

The case is tier 2 (of 2).

It can hold one item of 100 encumbrance, which can only be a musical instrument or a pile of up to 16,000 coins.

Only the owner can put an instrument in or get one out of it, but anyone can put coins in and get coins out.
It's theft when anyone but the owner takes coins from the case, and that can cause the Bard guild to take action against the offender, which can be a harmless reminder or something a bit more painful.

The owner can WATCH the case to reduce the chance of thievery (this also reduces the chances of townsfolk donations and increases the chances of getting heckled.)

Ownership can be transferred using:
  TRANSFER case to [player name]

There is a parchment sign on it with the text: "Property of someone else".

The WHISPER verb is used to set the text of the sign.
WHISPER case [l]ist will display a list of pre-made messages
WHISPER case [b]lank will blank out the sign, which will default to "Property of [owner's name]"
WHISPER case [text of sign message] Tier 2 only, use your own custom sign text
Another benefit of tier 2 is that the case can be worn.

Fluff verbs are NOD and PLUCK at tier 1. HUG, PUSH, TOUCH, KICK, and RAISE are added at tier 2.

The case supports a base, long, and show alteration, but it is up to the merchant if they are comfortable working on it. Unlocking is a limited service.

The player wiki has additional information about busker instrument cases.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Try as you might, you cannot get a good sense of whether or not the case's pockets could get any deeper, but you might be able to have a talented merchant lighten the instrument case for you.
