Raw cedar timbers perfume the air, comprising the walls of the expansive hall.  Living evergreen boughs contrast frame the southern entrance, brightly illuminated by faceted glimaerstone orbs set high into the ceiling.  The light scatters over a few dozen rows of comfortably padded seats and rugs covering parts of the polished floor.  A central aisle delineated by a quartet of braziers leads toward an expansive cedar and pine stage framed by silver-trimmed blue curtains.  You also see the bloodstained Queatus disk with scuffed and dented sides and the glossy pink Lilanna disk shaped like a jellyfish.

Alpine flowerbeds ring this tucked-away courtyard, their bright colors a feast for the eyes in comparison to the white of all the snow that lies beyond the gate.  Tamped snow paths keep footsteps soft in this small haven as travellers make their way to and from the chambers north of here.  Centered in a bed of white edelweiss and aromatic purple-flowered calamintha is an ice fountain, its watery spray frozen in a sparkling plume.  You also see a massive snowy white tiger, the Xanxen disk, the Gone disk, a blanket of snow, an iron-banded birchwood barrel, a wrought iron gate and a frost-covered glass box.

The thick tree coverage runs up to the edge of a steep cliff and provides welcome shelter from the harsh wind. Without those frigid gusts howling through the tree branches, the forest is remarkably peaceful. Several sets of tracks wind chaotically through the forest, and a few disappear up a fairly steep incline.  You also see a disgruntled tree spirit that is flying around, the glossy pink Nyaria disk shaped like a jellyfish and the Yairra disk.

Verdant and clad in fresh snowfall, the dense pine forest gives way to a large clearing near the mouth of a high pass.  Marking the perimeters of the glade are singularly immense totems carved from pine, their features weathered by the onslaught of the northern gale.  Each of the totems bears a different face, but all stare mutely, patiently standing watch despite the grinding of time's cruel teeth.  The largest is immense, several times the height of a tall man, but most are merely huge and imposing.

Wind wails through the passes, low, mournful, and musical at once.  It sways the branches of nearby pines into a slow, funereal dance.

Though ancient, the carvings on the bridge are deep-graven, depicting preternaturally beautiful figures in a variety of scenes.  Beyond the bridge rises a mountain, its peak lost in the clouds overhead.

A vast breach yawns out of the cragged mountainside, and lightless gloom beckons beyond.  Despite the snow that heavily blankets the mountain, the space before the ragged aperture is mostly clear.

Flames leap and roar from an immense bonfire built beneath a gap in the cavern ceiling, through which the light of the distant stars beckons.  Huge logs and flat boulders are positioned around the pyre's perimeter, and have been draped with leather and furs.  The bonfire is fed mostly with pine and spruce, which fill the cavern with the crisp effervescence of burning resin, but neither wood explainst the strange bluish cast to the roaring flames.

Glowing curtains of lichen cast strange illumination over a flat cavern wall that is covered with ancient etchings.  Spared the cruelty of the elements, they are deep-graven and simple, featuring long-limbed figures hunting, sowing, and harvesting.  At the center of the wall, a pair of round double doors gleam in the unearthly light, golvern rivets more brilliantly than the precious veil iron from which they are predominantly wrought.  The vast entryway is dozens of feet high at its zenith.  You also see a resplendent obsidian black raven that is flying around, a pale-faced coppery barn owl and a fluffy white cat.
