Modified Artwork

Hi there, JGENGLISH. You recently uploaded an image, File:Teras Isle Discovery of Kragnek Dzu (Oro).png, which appears to be modified from an image originally created by another artist, File:Teras Isle Regional final.jpg. I do see that you included in the caption a note about the original image. Can you please clarify if the original artist gave you permission to modify their image? I don't see that remarked on anywhere in your upload notes/captions. While the image does depict a map, it is considered artwork for the purposes of Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights and is protected under that section. Response from JGENGLISH: Hello HOST-GSKEBECHET! Thanks, sorry. Yes, Aloska (JSEVERNS) gave me permission to edit their original artwork. I will add this to the image description. Should I also add it to the caption?

Thank you very much for confirming! Yes, information like this will need to be reflected in the caption, too. If you have not done so already, I'll adjust it this morning. Also, for future reference, you can automatically apply a "signature" via wiki code, ~~~~. While it isn't necessary, it can be useful when communicating on talk pages. Images at Risk for Deletion

Hello, JGENGLISH. You recently uploaded two images to the wiki, File:Oro.png and File:Oro bw.png, that are missing some information required by Gswiki:Policy. GSwiki now has a new policy for all images uploaded to it. Please see Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights for more information about that policy and the requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. This information needs to be on the images as well as on all articles using them. In addition, all images using AI software in their creation are required to be included in Category:AI artwork. To add that text to the image file, you will need to click on "Edit Source" on the image file itself and add [[Category:AI artwork]]. All articles displaying the images will need to include that same information in their captions, whether that is part of the characterprofile template's caption field or appended to a thumbnail display, such as [[File:Oro bw.png|120x120px|thumb|caption text]]. For these two images specifically:

• File:Oro.png - Image file is missing who generated the image, if permission was given to upload it (if that person is not you), the name of the AI imaging software, and [[Category:AI artwork]]. The article featuring the image (Oro (platinum)) is missing who generated the image and if permission was given to upload it (if that person is not you).
• File:Oro bw.png - Image file is missing who generated the image, if permission was given to upload it (if that person is not you), the name of the AI imaging software, and [[Category:AI artwork]]. The article featuring the image (Cast of characters) is missing all of that same information.

If that information is not added within 7 days, the images will be deleted from the wiki. Please do not remove the {{moddelete}} template from the images. Another moderator or I will remove that template after your updates have been reviewed to ensure that they meet Gswiki:Policy requirements.
