Uploaded Images

Hi, there! Thank you very much for your many contributions to the wiki. While doing some patrols of recently (and not-so-recently) updated pages, I noticed that you uploaded several images for guides you authored that do not have artist or copyright information on the pages where they are displayed. Specifically, I am referring to "Issalya_portrait.jpg" on Comprehensive Wizard Guide; "Necromancer.jpg" on Comprehensive Sorcerer Guide; "Bard_Weapons.jpg" on Comprehensive Bard Guide; "Ranger_and_wolf.jpg" on Comprehensive Ranger Guide; plus "Empath.jpg", "Warpath.jpg", and "Dissector.jpg" on Elanthia 5e. In addition, I could not find anything about the various Arkati symbols on the Elanthia 5e page; they appear to be made and uploaded specifically for it.

This information must be noted on the page using the image, not just in the image's metadata. Please see Help:Style#Copyrights for more information about the requirement to provide the source and artist name for all images for which you have permission to uploaded onto GSwiki. If you are the artist who created the artwork, you can simply note that instead. If you need an example of how to do this, the character page Arenglae (prime) does this very clearly for all of the portraits. Any artwork that is official Simutronics artwork does NOT need this. Hello, KITHUS. I previously reached out to you about multiple images that you had uploaded. GSwiki has a new policy for all images uploaded to it. I have flagged several of your images that is not in compliance with the updated Gswiki:Policy for Copyrights regarding images. The 45 images that have been flagged as needing updated information are as follows:
  • File:Issalya portrait.jpg - Who created this image? If that person is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it?
  • File:Necromancer.jpg - Who created this image? If that person is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it?
  • File:Bard Weapons.jpg - Who created this image? If that person is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it?
  • File:Ranger and wolf.jpg - Who created this image? If that person is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it?
  • File:Empath.jpg - Who created this image? If that person is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it?
  • File:Warpath.jpg - Who created this image? If that person is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it?
  • File:Dissector.jpg - Who created this image? If that person is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it?

Image at Risk for Deletion

Hi again, KITHUS. I am reaching out to you about another older image that you had uploaded previously to the wiki, File:Monk.jpg. While reviewing recent updates to the wiki, I noticed that this image is used on the Comprehensive Monk Guide article and is missing information required by Gswiki:Policy. While you are not the most recent user to have updated the image, you are the image's original uploader and its current version is identical to the version you had originally uploaded to the wiki. Please see Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights for more information about that policy and the requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. Depending on the nature of this image, you will need to provide specific information about it both on the image file and on all articles using it. In addition, images using AI software in their creation are required to be included in Category:AI artwork. If that information is not added within 7 days, this image will be deleted from the wiki. If you have any questions about this process or need more information about the updated policy for images, please reach out to the wiki team on the Gemstone forum's wiki thread.
