Solhaven OOC Meeting Notes

Open Address to Players

  • 61 bugs ranging from 2004 to current were closed last month in Solhaven
  • Unreleased shops created by Mikos were discovered in Marshtown during bug fixes. These shops have been placed in QC and will open in the near future
  • The Eatery on Green Ell in Marshtown will open this year.
  • 2 New Shops will open amid Roleplaying Moments this month
  • GMs Xynwen, Elysani, and Thandiwe have started building the Wizard’s Guild
  • 2 Court Sessions planned for the beginning of the year. 1 in January, 1 in February
  • Global Storyline Launches in January
  • Citizenship Titles are coming to Citizens of Solhaven in the new year
  • GM Lydil has moved teams and a new Guru will be in place by end of January (there is no further information on that)
  • Silverwood Manor will be added to Solhaven

Participant Questions and Concerns

  • Phanna provided feedback on the Requiem and Renewal storyline, to much agreements from those a gathered.
    • Thandiwe shared that her philosophy of Storytelling, and the one she encourages going forward, is to build the framework and goal posts but to let the players drive it. Vignettes will be used, going forward, to offer small windows of time but not to push or drive the storylines.
  • Bristenn asked if contests could be run.
    • Thandiwe suggested one for artwork for the Wizard’s Guild.
  • Guarrin asked for information regarding the promised expansion of the lore, information, and additional members for the Order of the Swan.
    • Thandiwe said that would require the new Guru to be answered.
  • Guarrin asked if better clarity around the requirements of being knighted and consistent timelines could be had.
    • Thandiwe informed that it was a topic by she and Wyrom were discussing and that once the Guru shift was settled there would be more details given.
  • Bristenn asked if this pertained to all orders and groups.
    • The short answer was yes, except those that have clearly defined roles.
  • Yukito brought up the racial bias and rudeness of the alchemist.
    • Thandiwe is looking into it.
  • Yukito mentioned the Empath Guild doesn’t have a barrel and that the library was broken.
    • Thandiwe is looking into this.
  • Yukito asked about Crooked Way Round times for beat downs.
    • Thandiwe is going to look into it.
  • Lavastene asked for more Tehir shops and updates.
    • Thandiwe said she would add it to the list.
  • Jaysehn asked if there were going to be ways to advance in the Order of Voln.
    • Thandiwe stated there wasn’t anything planned at this time.
  • Jaysehn asked about Imperial Life and painting a better picture of Imperial Rule. A brief discussion ensued where a lot of opinions were shared.
  • Ifanna asked for an addition of Lesser Gods temple/shrines.
    • Thandiwe said she’d add it to the request list.
  • Raelee asked that the messaging from the Vornavian Guards be less caustic.
    • Thandiwe is adding it to the list and looking into it.
  • Owly requested peach muffins be added to the Muffin Stall.
  • Perigourd asked if there was a plan to build Ascension hunting grounds in Solhaven.
    • Thandiwe confirmed there isn’t a plan at this time.

  • More children playing in the streets
  • More ambients about trade
  • School for adults (edited)
