Ta'Illistim 2022 OOC Meeting

Since the last time we met lots of good things have been happening.

The book wagon has come out several times. It will be out again soon with a new set of books and then I will be asking for more submissions.

I still owe some folks a books from their FoL talk and it is on my do asap list.

The books will also be in the shop at RoL and end up in the library when that does get an update.

Fash'lo'nae’s shrine was put up in.

The Dig story happened, which was well received by all.

The Shimmarglin Inn had some updates.

Some restrictions about the city were removed and messaging updated.

The manticore story included the East.

Hinterwild opened for the En.

OSA is on the horizon. I have been spending all my spare minutes working on it.

I fully expect TV OSA to be in QC this week. But I am not giving a timeline to opening. When it is ready, you will know. But know it is sooner than RSN.

Piggybacking on this, I would love to see more eastern ports with flavor of that city/area. This is on my I really want to do list.

We also will have more interactions coming up with Lady Kassendra.

Looking to the future. There are projects still on my list.

At the top is the museum which I admit was pushed to the back in favor of OSA and other must do right now projects. But that is at the top of my want list. Updating shops and the library are still on that as well as a project a group of players brought to me that I am still discussing with folks.

While Hinterwilds and OSA will go a long way with hunting in the area, I am investigating other areas, so development is not ending here if I can help it.

The TI citizenship NPC is getting some new messaging to make things more clear when talking to him.

We opened up the new post office.

Festival of Lumnea is happening this year and will included a mini story event as well as a bit more interaction and new shops as my whole team is involved. If you want to present something, a panel of gms will choose 3 from the submissions I get. The deadline is May 29.

Looking at revamping the Handmaidens a bit.

I am also discussing with those I need to the movement of some of the super nodes as I already mentioned. The feedback was really valuable. I will let folks know when and where things change.

Points from questions/statements:

• General statements that folks would like to flesh out the other elven cultures more and see more elven RP. Keep the unique feeling of the Elven Nations. More fashion events with more rp. Add more of the other cultures so they become a breathing entity.
  • I am onboard and have been seeing a swing in what players want. I am also open to reading player submissions for documentation. There were a lot of folks in support of this.

• Statement that all of the elven cultures should be included in the fashion area, not just TI.
  • Agree

• Do I accept maps?
  • yes

• It was suggested that maybe some of the new class of GM's could be on board in the EN.
  • I have no idea where people are going, but I welcome any gm who wants to work in the EN and have been working with a few.

• Please have lasimor and klysmar available via raffle, auction, limited distro via merchants at Lumnea.
  • There will be some stuff released in the near future, but it will be up to players to discover it.
    • Klysmar is only slated for instruments at this time and you will not find pieces of it out there. But I will see what i can do about more instruments coming out.

• Bring in more GM's to help with NPCing.
  • Totally on board here, but scheduling can be hard, but I will see what I can do.

• Players want to have an impact on storylines.
  • I am all for it. The path we take to the end is best created by players. The current Storyline with Kassendra has no end goal slated. It is about RP opportunities. Come RP hating she is here or RP you love her and want to meet her. Its all good. It is a chance for diplomacy between the two cultures.

• What are the chances of getting an Omnishrine? Who can we write to?
  • None are planned at this time. I suggested they write to feedback if they were concerned.

• Question about PC's being supported as members of groups like The Loremasters, Elemancers, Sapphire Guard, The Arch Magi, Artificers.
  • They are not supported in an official capacity at this time.

• There was brainstorming about using the embassy for more and having a place for the other elven cultures.
  • Got some ideas churning, and I would like to house the cultures in the Keep.

Most discussions were about more elven culture and more RP around this.

Thank you to the players who came out. I listened and agree with much of what was said. Thank you for sharing ideas. I appreciate it!
