Numerous silver lanterns are suspended from the ceiling in this room, their dim flames supplementing the natural sunlight that pours in through a textured glass door. The walls have been largely left unaltered and the coarse, roughly hewn surface stands in stark contrast to the polished floor below. Throughout the room, plush white wool carpets have been arranged to provide customers with a comfortable place to stand while examining the wares contained in a brightly illuminated jewelry case and a brightly illuminated jewelry display. You also see an engraved obsidian archway leading further into the shop and a slender elven shopkeeper.

Draped in an elegant gold-trimmed forest green flyrsilk wrap-dress, Shayren stands primly behind the jewelry case, her sapphire blue eyes carefully scanning customers as they peruse the wares within the store.  Her chestnut brown hair is pulled back into a neat, spiraling bun and secured with a pair of linden hairsticks, while a few stray wisps remain loose to frame her youthful features.

Shayren quickly responds, "Oh, I love many subjects.  But I'm particularly fond of talking about SIGNETS, DESIGNS, and, of course, ANKET."

A flash of a smile plays across Shayren's face before she responds, "Ah, Anket.  He's such a gentle soul.  If you want a good story, perhaps ask him about WINE, I'm sure he'll talk your ear off."  Shayren chuckles quietly to herself then resumes tending to the shop.

Shayren chuckles softly and explains, "Yes, yes, to hear him tell it you'd think he carried that wagon all the way to Zhindel's post on his back.  I was so thankful for Anket's help while I was stuck in Whistler's pass - I'd probably still be there if it wasn't for him.  When I finished my delivery to Zhindel's post, I returned home to Ta'Illistim before running across him again a few days later.  I forget which one of us suggested DINNER together, perhaps Anket knows, but we've been almost inseparable since then."

The backroom of the store is far more muted and austere than the brilliantly lit entrance. Small workbenches line both sides of the room while the back wall has technical diagrams mounted in silver frames. In the center of the room, a small wooden table sits atop a plush wool rug with several lanterns above it providing a dull, steady illumination. You also see an engraved obsidian archway leading back to the entrance and a hearty dwarven engraver.

A thick, brown beard obscures most of his features except for his ruddy cheeks and bright emerald green eyes, while a simple hair tie secures his long grey-streaked hair behind his head.  From around his neck, a leather apron hangs to cover his ecru linen shirt and black cotton pants.

Laughing loudly, Anket slaps his workbench, causing several items to rattle before saying, "Years ago Shayren's wagon had broken on the trail from Ta'Illistim to Zhindel's post - a snapped axle.  I had been traveling the other way when I came across her stranded on the side of the trail.  Well, far be it from me to leave her there- I helped her repair her wagon and what does she offer me in thanks?  Wine!  I took it out of kindness and went on my way.  I caught up with her again when she RETURNed to Ta'Illistim.  Perhaps you can ask her about that."  Wiping a tear away from his eye, he returns his focus to his work.

Anket's ruddy cheeks darken a moment before he says, "A wonderful night, that.  Two strangers who happened to be in the right place at the right time.  I'm not one for believing in fate but, well, I suppose one could say it was meant to be.  Shayren and I decided to settle down on this isle together before too long and spend our days tending to our shop and listening to the sounds of the ocean just outside.  Tell you what - I drew up a special design to commemorate that time.  If you'd like, I'd be happy to engrave a copy for you.  Just ask me for some STARS once you have your ring in hand."
