A chipped brick

Found all over River's Rest and the surrounding areas, chipped bricks are a River's Rest fact of life. They can often be found on the bench or in the crate. Saltwater Sal sometimes requests them as her fee.

River's Rest historically was a town of bridges connecting it to the mainland. There were four main bridges. The overabundance of chipped bricks in this area stems from after the fall of the Kannalan Empire, when marauders threatened town's security of the island and defense of all four bridges was impossible. Three of the bridges were consequently destroyed.

Some items of interest related to the bridges are located in the River's Rest Museum. Located in the South Exhibit Room, a pair of vases depicts the four bridges of the town. A chipped brick from the Saffron Bridge is also kept as a museum exhibit.
