Empyrean Onslaughts The skies above Elanthia grow dark. The Empyrean Syndicate has arrived in force, goliath raiders descending from airships to lay siege to our. The masked Gemstone Artificer seeks the aid of adventurers who have proven themselves worthy, and whispers of ancient lunar power echo through the land. Whether you prefer to meet the invaders head-on or ascend into their airships to take the fight to them, there's never been a better time to sharpen your blades and push beyond the boundaries of what you thought possible.

New and updated features:

• "Shadow's Descent": New Story Quest. The masked Gemstone Artificer has a new request. Uncover the connection between the Empyrean Syndicate and the Lunar Shard Gemstones in this multi-part narrative that takes you across Elanthia. Completing the quest unlocks Gemstone Codices, repeatable quests, and the GEM ONSLAUGHT command. Requires completion of "A Sparkling Ascent."

• Dynamic Onslaught Events. Empyrean invasion forces now periodically assault Ascension hunting grounds, with one Onslaught active at a time on a randomly chosen ground.

• Empyrean Airship Raids. Slay Empyrean during an active Onslaught to open swirling portals into the Syndicate's airships. Fight your way upward through multi-deck combat encounters aboard mechanical lifts, with progressive difficulty and group support for up to six adventurers.

• Weekly and Monthly Repeatable Quests. Four new repeatable quests offer ongoing Empyrean content. Hunt aboard airships or defend the ground during Onslaughts, with weekly and monthly variants. Earn Gemstone Codices, experience, and fame. Check QUEST LIST for availability after completing Shadow's Descent.

• Gemstone Geodes. A new collectible drop containing two Gemstones. Turn the geode to shift focus between the two, then break it to extract the Gemstone of your choice. Accessible via GEM FIXATE.

• New GEM Commands.
  • GEM FIXATE: Sacrifice a portion of your weekly silver generation potential in exchange for an increased chance of finding Gemstones and receiving them inside a Geode.
  • GEM STATUS: Check whether you are currently eligible for Gemstone drops.
  • GEM ONSLAUGHT: Sense the presence and location of any active Onslaught (requires completion of Shadow's Descent).

• Gemstone Codices. One-time-use items that overwrite a property on one of your Gemstones with a new one via the Artificer.

To get started, check QUEST LIST after completing "A Sparkling Ascent" to pick up Shadow's Descent. Keep an ear out for broadcast announcements of incoming Onslaughts in your hunting grounds.
