Fresh off the surprise announcement yesterday at SimuCon 2026, I am proud to say that the new Kraken's Fall Shopping District is open for exploration (if not for SHOP-related business yet).

Administrator Salty, a greasy, tooth-challenged functionary, has used the labor of many oiled-up half-elves to rebuild a ruined warehouse off Nereid's Cradle. While the area's reconstitution is ongoing, things are ready enough for Kraken's Fall citizens, well-wishers, and hangers-on to visit and preview the expansion which will house the town's forthcoming Playershops!

This new area in Kraken's Fall is LIVE now in GemStone IV Prime. Please proceed to the Nereid's Cradle, Canopied Walk, head down aside the walk, and look for the wide sand-stuck stairs leading to a warehouse complex. A massive thank you to GM Thandiwe for her support, GM Itzel for her editing alacrity, GM Xeraphina for her guidance, and PM Wyrom for his help throughout.
