Aqsalith Waterbending Flourish

Aqsalith Waterbending Flourish is a tiered Flourish for items made of aqsalith. It was introduced at Premium Festival in 2026 and can only be unlocked by Acqsael merchants. The Flourish provides water-themed roleplaying verbs. Weapons and armor made of aqsalith also possess inherent combat properties that do not change with the Flourish's unlock tier. Tier 1 Tier 1 unlocks BRUSH, TILT, and TURN for ornamental items. Armaments unlock PUSH, with eligible wearable armaments also receiving WEAR and REMOVE messaging. Additional Information The combat properties require the item itself to be made of aqsalith and are independent of the Flourish's unlock tier. Elemental State Aqsalith normally produces water-based effects. Exposure to cold or heat can temporarily change its elemental state: Cold changes water into ice. Heat changes ice back into water. Heat changes water into steam. Cold changes steam back into water. The ice and steam states last 15 minutes. Weapons Aqsalith weapons have a standard flare chance when striking an opponent. The flare: Deals water, ice, or steam damage according to the weapon's current elemental state. Applies the disoriented condition to the defender. Leaves a puddle beneath a player attacker for 30 seconds. If the player is standing in the puddle when struck by qualifying electrical damage, the electricity surges through the water and damages eligible creatures in the room. The secondary effect does not damage other players and consumes the puddle. Armor Aqsalith armor has two defensive reactions at the standard flare rate: Before damage, its surface can roil and soften the incoming attack by 10 critical weighting equivalent. After being struck, it can launch a retaliatory water, ice, or steam flare at the attacker.
