Walking through a moonlit glade, the grass is cool and cushioned beneath your bare feet, and the scent of crushed green wafts up in gentle breaths around you. Each step takes you closer to a luminescent figure standing motionless at the edge of the wood. The nearer you draw, the brighter the light, and you pause and find yourself shielding your eyes against the glare. Mere moments later, a soft voice whispers in your ear, one treasured and lost to the past, and you smile as you feel the press of a warm palm against your cheek and a fleeting kiss against your forehead.

In your left hand, you find a thin curl of aged vellum.

In the Common language, it reads:
Remember me.

Arenglae awoke with a start, a combination of fear and comfort leaving her confused. Tosho had shared a dream again, though this one felt more familiar than the others. In her hand, a gift from her beloved unicorn, spawned from the dream itself, though its words, "Remember me," started haunting her immediately. The figure she saw seemed distant, yet familiar, a person she felt she knew all along while simultaneously knowing nothing about them at all.

The question she was faced with now was simply, "Who was it?" The voice sounded feminine, the actions seemed feminine, but Aren could not determine through this who the figure was. The note left behind did little to help, as no one she knew in her past would be anyone she could consider worth remembering.

Shaking her head, she glanced down at the her Kori and Yuki, both looking her with their heads tilted in opposite directions and their ears pricked at attention. "It is fine," she whispered to the foxes, her typical reply when nothing was actually fine, but she had no desire to process or explain. Tucking the vellum into her cloak, she mounted Tosho once again, taking this moment to clear her head and ride aimlessly along Sylvarraend Road.
