Contestants were given fifteen minutes to plan an outfit, dress their goat and present it.

Wonkus' Battle Goat

(Wonkus sashays with purpose over to a shaggy goat. He fastens several bits of tin and steel scrap around the goat with twine.)

(Wonkus adopts a look of panic as his goat begins to eat one of the tin plates fastened to it. He quietly scolds the goat while moving the offending plate out of biting range.)

(Wonkus places a copper pot atop the head of the goat. He spends a moment balancing the pot atop the horns so it won't fall, and then sashays gracefully down the courtyard, goat in tow.)

Wonkus exclaims, "I present for your consideration, the magical, armored battle goat!"

(Wonkus ponders his goat for a moment, seemingly in deep consideration.)

(Wonkus hastily rifles through his cape, procuring a small stick after a moment. He precariously places the stick atop the goat's back, which promptly falls to the ground.)

(Wonkus grumbles, picking the stick up off the ground. He proffers the stick to his goat. The goat takes Wonkus's stick in its mouth and gnaws happily.)

Wonkus exclaims, "Runestaff included! Magic!"

(Wonkus takes a moment and strikes a heroic pose! After a few seconds, he looks down at his goat, which is still eating the stick. With an exasperated sigh, he states "Look heroic!")

(Wonkus wrinkles his nose as his goat ignores the order. He once again strikes his own heroic pose and exclaims, "Ta Da!!!")

Meril's Healing Goat

(Meril approaches one of the young white-colored goats hopping near the gate. The goat inspects her curiously as she kneels down next to it.)

Meril kneels down.

Meril removes a seaweed and Moomph pickle sandwich from in her ebon suede bag.

(Meril gives the a gentle rub on the head and offers it a bite of her sandwich. As the goat gobbles away, she takes out small circlets of colorful water lilies and hangs them around each of its horns, whispering quietly in its ears all the while.)

Meril ponders.

Meril removes a soft yierka hide blanket with an intricate woven design from in her barkcloth pack.

Meril carefully unfolds her yierka hide blanket, letting the long ends fall to the ground.

(Meril fusses over the goat's coat for a bit, then brings out a soft yierka-hide blanket from her pack and drapes it over the back carefully, securing it in place with tassels at the neck.)

Meril stands up.

(Meril gives the goat an measuring look, then takes out a small brush to smooth out its forehead. Dipping the brush in some ink vials, she dabs a bit of dappled green coloring on its face, reminiscent of the patterning of acantha leaf.)

(Meril stands up and leads the goat out of the pen for a walk. The goat bounces behind her, bleating excitedly.)

Meril exclaims, "I present to you the mascot of the River's Rest Empath Guild!"

Meril bounces around happily.

(Meril leads the goat back into the pen and tosses an extra apple after it as a treat.)

Meliyara's Goat: Dinner

(Meliyara strides confidently into the pen and retrieves a plump brown goat, leading it out of the pen by a rope.)

Meliyara furtively glances over her shoulder at Kayse.

(Meliyara rummages idly in her pelisse, a faint smirk on her lips as she pulls out a large piece of butcher paper with a hole cut out for the goat's head.)

Meliyara smiles happily as she arranges the butcher paper around the plump goat, thick dotted black lines displaying the various cuts: neck, shoulder, rib, shank, loin, breast, and leg.

(Meliyara hums a jaunty tune as she flicks her wrist, a crisp red apple appearing seemingly out of nowhere into her waiting hand.)

(Meliyara places the apple in the goat's mouth, shooting it a warning glare not to eat it, parading the goat in a circle.)

Meliyara mischievously introduces, "This is Dinner. Does he not look ravishingly delicious?"

(Meliyara glances in dismay at the goat as he munches happily on the apple.)

(Meliyara licks her lips hungrily, glancing appraisingly at the plump brown goat while reluctantly returning him to the pen.)

Meliyara's stomach growls.
