As Olaesta approaches and the season of renewal begins, the Isle of Ornath eagerly prepares for the return of Bericsaba Market. For one weekend, Sleeping Drake Harbor will be filled with the hum of trade, the scent of exquisite fare, and the fierce yet friendly rivalry of artisans and culinarians eager to prove their mastery. This year, with our invitations reaching beyond our shores, it is only fitting that we extend a warm welcome to the people of Northwatch and its neighboring lands.

First, let me offer our admiration for the perseverance and spirit shown by the people of Icemule Trace in these past seasons. Mayor Talliver Dabbings has guided the town with steadfast resolve, and while we do not wish to presume, know that Ornath watches with respect. It is with great enthusiasm that we invite the citizens of Icemule Trace to Whisked Away: A Pastry Perfection Contest, a competition dedicated to the mastery of desserts. Whether rich and decadent or airy and delicate, pastries are a testament to patience and precision. The islanders of Ornath take pride in their sweets, but we have heard much of Icemule's own confections and would welcome the chance to see whose hands truly craft the finest treats.

At the same time, we would be remiss if we did not also extend an invitation to The Briny Bite: A Feast from the Deep, a contest honoring the bounty of the sea. The people of Glaeve and the northern settlements know well the hardship and triumph of surviving in an unforgiving land, and with that comes a deep respect for the ocean's gifts. Whether dried, smoked, or served fresh, seafood is a craft all its own, demanding skill in preparation and a keen understanding of flavor. Ornathians have long relied upon the sea for sustenance, but we would be honored to test our traditions against those of the north.

With the Mana Storms receding, travel to Ornath has become far more accessible. The Chronomages have granted a transportation house in Sleeping Drake Harbor, ensuring an easier journey for those eager to attend. Our harbor's expansions are near completion, ready to receive ships from across the sea, while the stables should be finished in time to accommodate mounted travelers.

It is our hope that Northwatch, both Icemule Trace and Glaeve, will take up these challenges and join us in the spirit of friendly competition. Whether as contestants, judges, or honored guests, your presence would bring great distinction to this year's Bericsaba Market.
