With Olaesta fast approaching, the Isle of Ornath prepares to once again throw open its gates for the grand spectacle of Bericsaba Market.  A celebration of craft, competition, and tradition, the market draws together the finest artisans, chefs, and vintners of the island to test their skills against one another in contests of great renown.  This year, as we welcome challengers from beyond our shores, there is one name that our vintners have spoken of with a particular reverence...  Vornavis.

Though years have passed since the famed Vornavian Red of 5001 first graced the lips of the fortunate, its legend has never faded.  It is said that the finest vintages do not simply vanish but instead leave an indelible mark upon the world, inspiring those who follow.  With that in mind, it is with great admiration that we extend to you, and to those vintners of Solhaven and Vornavis who yet hold to the art, an invitation to The Decadent Sip: Making Pour Decisions, a contest dedicated to the noble craft of winemaking.

This is not a contest of mere fermentation but of legacy, of patience, and of the mastery required to capture the land's very essence in a single pour.  The vintners of Ornath have long cultivated their own varieties, drawing from the island's unique soil and climate to produce blends of complexity and depth.  Yet even they are eager to see if the spirit that once brought forth the Vornavian Red still thrives.  It would be an honor to see Solhaven and Vornavis take their rightful place among this year's competitors, whether to rekindle an old legend or to forge an entirely new one.

With the Mana Storms receding, travel to Ornath has become far more accessible.  The Chronomages have granted a transportation house in Sleeping Drake Harbor to aid in facilitating travel, ensuring an easier journey for those eager to attend.  The harbor itself is nearing completion on its latest expansions and will be well-prepared to receive shipments, while the stables are expected to be finished in time for those who travel by mount.

It is our sincere hope that you will accept this invitation not only to stand among our competitors but to remind us all that fine wine is more than a drink; it is history, captured in a glass.  Whether as participants, judges, or honored guests, the vintners of Vornavis and Solhaven would be most welcome at Bericsaba Market.

Vivid emerald parchment, thin and textured, carries the warmth of jungle canopies kissed by sunlight.  Five interlocking rings form a striking header, their overlapping shapes embossed with subtle depth.  Along the left and right edges, a cascade of feathers shimmers with gold foil outlines, each plume curling as if caught in a gentle breeze.  Visible fibers lend a tactile richness to the surface, a testament to expert craftsmanship.

• It was decided by the Merchantile Guild of Solhaven that they would hold a contest and let the citizens of Solhaven present their favorite wines for the contests abroad.
