Anisbithe, the daughter of Duwach Tidbit, who owns the Grocer on Winter St, visited the Hearthstone Porch at her father's instruction. Earlier in the day, Gert, Krythussa, and Duwach all received letters from the island of Ornath. Since many of them are busy running their businesses, they asked her to bring the letters to the porch in hopes that locals would want to take up the invite.

In the Common language, it reads:

To the Esteemed Citizens of Wehnimer's Landing,

As the first full weekend of Olaesta approaches, the Isle of Ornath eagerly prepares for the return of Bericsaba Market.  For one weekend, the harbor will come alive with the clash of friendly rivalries, the scent of exquisite fare, and the lively hum of artisans and culinarians putting their skills to the test.  This year, as we invite challengers from beyond our shores, our thoughts turn to a town once spoken of in hushed, reverent tones when it came to the art of pie making.

Wehnimer's Landing was once the mecca of pie creation, a place where crusts were flaky, fillings divine, and the very spirit of competition thrived in every carefully crafted pastry.  There was a time when citizens took great pride in their pies, elevating the humble dish to something truly legendary.  But time can be unkind, and we recognize that the past six years have left you bereft of your prized and fabled pie shop.  For this, you have our sympathies but also our curiosity.

The question now stands: does Wehnimer's Landing still have what it takes? It is with great enthusiasm that we invite you to The Perfect Slice: A Battle of Crust and Filling, a contest dedicated to the mastery of pie making.  Whether sweet or savory, delicate or hearty, the true challenge lies in achieving perfection in both the crust and the filling.  The people of Ornath are eager to prove their skill, but they would consider no contest truly worthy unless Wehnimer's finest stepped forward to compete.

With the Mana Storms receding, travel to Ornath has become far more accessible.  The Chronomages have sanctioned a transportation house in Sleeping Drake Harbor, easing the journey for those eager to attend.  The harbor's expansions are nearing completion and will be well-equipped to receive visitors by sea, while the stables should be finished in time for mounted travelers.

We hope you will join us, whether to reclaim your title, challenge new rivals, or simply indulge in the joy of competition.  Whether as contestants, judges, or honored guests, the people of Wehnimer's Landing would be most welcome at this year's Bericsaba Market.
