Subject: Scrip exchanger/Bloodrunes
>>What is going to be the tax for using this service?
It's 1% rounding down with a minimum of 1 bloodscrip. It's an all or nothing exchange.
>>Also, are bloodrunes going to be able to turned in for scrip?
Not bloodrunes, but the stones to make bloodrunes can be purchased by the archaeologist.
>>Can we get a list of what bloodrunes are the rarer ones so we don't do something stupid and exchange them? Or will there be a way to look at them and tell?
You can't sell a bloodrune once made. But you could technically sell the stone. There is some discovery required for this. The archaeologist will talk about them if you GIVE them to him. We'll monitor it to see how it's being handled. I just suggest people read the text that appears on the screen when dealing with these.
The legendary bloodrune is exclusive to this run only. And it's crazy rare.

There are 3 tiers released this time around. Classic, Divine, and Legendary. Classic are the most common. Divine are a bit more rare. And Legendary is rarer than a segment. The Legendary one this time around is an exclusive find at this run only. You become the minotaur that the artwork is based on.

Now that the bloodrunes have been found by attentive players finally... There are two, and both have different descriptions!

Subject: Duskruin QoL Updates
Moments ago I went ahead and added a number of updates to both the sewers and the arena.
Sewer Update
The bandit caches now announce every cache that is found. Prior to this update, it was random whether or not it would announce a cache. Typically, only the bigger caches were announced. The smaller ones will also announce now.
Arena Update
The messaging you receive after a match will reflect the level of reward a bit better. Perfect wins will now boast about your achievements, if you have one of the champion post name titles unlocked.
Smithy Invites Update
The way invites are rewarded has been changed a bit. Invites now have a chance to be rewarded if you score high enough to get a piece of gear or jewelry, but do not fully win. The messaging update above will help indicate this as well. Your odds are greatly improved if you win though. And perfect wins are the best odds. You still have to live and not surrender.
Once the smithy goes live and you use your invites, I've added in some checks where over time, your odds will improve to get additional ones. Once you find one, it resets.
Bloodrune Stones and Archaeologist Update
Bloodrunes, while in stone form, can be TURNed to prevent them from being sold to the archaeologist NPC. It is up to you to TURN them to mark them.
Envelopes
A very rare prize can be found that will grant you access to the smithy. It will contain instructions on how to redeem it. Because the envelopes draw from the same prize pool, it can be found in the sewers or arena. Keep in mind, this is very rare. You will need to redeem it before this run of Duskruin closes up. If you already have an invite and want to hang onto this as a secondary invite (after you use your first), you can.
As for other prizes, obviously the most common are just the 2 extra bloodscrip. There are levels of extra bloodscrips, like 100, 500, 1000, 2500, 5000, and 10000. There are some RPA orbs. There is a few will-o'-wisps and amulets from Coraesine Forest (Field). There are a few unlock certificates for some of my fluff.

Colossus
Towering over her surroundings, Thandiwe has a stony countenance with an impassive expression and an unyielding hazel gaze. Chiseled features with chips and pits due to aging and erosion make it impossible to determine her race, while skins of moss in shades of rust red provide the hint of natural hair. Her hands stand out the most, the large digits at once smooth from exposure to weather and yet cracked with age, hinting at a hidden strength beneath a calm exterior.

Subject: Enter the Snow Spectre
This DR, the Legendary Bloodrune is the Snow Spectre...
>look Thandiwe
Haunting winter grey eyes gaze with a disturbing vacancy from Thandiwe's eerie visage, which morphs between expressions of abject horror and fractured sanity from one moment to the next. His waif-like limbs float in a current of frosty air that spirals around him, transforming his appearance between states of flickering, semi-translucency to near blinding white and icy solidity. A mane of coppery red hair frames his gaunt head, the scraggly tendrils falling away from his gaunt face in erratic lengths.
The Legendary Cloak this time around is a frosty gossamer shroud. For the finer details, of which there are some, you can view it in the Trove. However, if you have the Snow Spectre Bloodrune in your Moonshard Pendant, then this is what you can expect when wearing the shroud.
blink my shroud
You allow your eyes to drift closed briefly, a sense of calm settling over you.
Thandiwe closes his winter grey eyes briefly, transforming his visage from one tinged with horrific insanity to divine serenity. The moment of peacefulness is lost the moment he opens his eyes.
chuckle my shroud
You chuckle slightly, amazed at the timber of your own voice, and briefly dissolve into maniacal laughter.
A chuckle bubbles out of the haunted visage of Thandiwe, transforming the look of abject horror etched across his face into an expression of guileless insanity. The chuckle expands into a laughter of unbridled mania.
(hidden) A chuckle bubbles out of the shadows, expanding into a laughter of unbridled mania.
get bracelet
Reaching into the shroud that adorns your waif-like, semi-ethereal form, you pull out an insubstantial silver bracelet, which slowly gains solidity with the passage of time.

pinch my shroud
With a shriek of dismay, you pull a bit of lint from your gossamer shroud and watch as ice crystals form upon it. You hurl it from you, causing it to shatter upon the ground.

preen my shroud

A chill swath of air exudes from Thandiwe as he draws his arms about his gossamer-shrouded form.
put bracelet in my shroud
Cradling silver bracelet in your hand, you slowly allow it to grow insubstantial and then merge it with the shroud adorning you.
