a hurriedly erected driftwood shack, [Map Room 31], Lich #26519, go driftwood shack (Northern Passage)

HT Entry

[Higher Thinking] RNUM: 26522
The main showroom of this quickly built shop is packed with goods for sale. Near the interior of the door, a stack of unopened crates lies in wait to replenish the items as customers mingle and supplies grow low. On a low-set rafter, a small tapestry is hung depicting in colorful detail various symbols of the pantheon of Elanthian Arkati. A short glass display occupies the eastern wall, while a sturdy shelf has been built cater-cornered in the northwest part of the room.

On the sturdy shelf you see:

an awkwardly bent and twisted black candle
This candle is an Arkati Candle. When dropped, it may only be picked up by the person who dropped it. If 8 hours pass, anyone can pick it up. It is prone to janitor sweeps.
The item may be altered, provided it remains a candle, taper, or exact synonym for the noun. It is not fully unlocked and currently uses the LIGHT and SNUFF verbs. During the Feast of Immortals and Ebon Gate, any willing merchant may unlock it -- please have in mind if you want the candle to be aligned to Liabo or Lornon.
Any willing merchant may add charges to the candle to better allow for longevity.

The smooth, unevenly spaced driftwood that comprise the walls of this poorly constructed shack give evidence in both sight and smell of ages spent in or near the swelling sea; indeed, bits of sand and dried muck cling desperately to the occasional dent in the wood of several of the logs. Through gaps in the walls, you hear waves crashing eternally in rhythm with the unabating buzzing of big bugs. The ground below is formed of a mixture of crushed seashells, sand, and other unidentifable substances.

HT Loft

[Higher Thinking, Loft] RNUM: 26526
Through wide gaps in the wooden planks of the floor, you notice patrons milling about and overhear their soft chatter as they examine their wares. The walls of the room, comprised entirely of driftwood, are awkwardly shaped, the constant sea breeze occasionally wafting through the gaps in their structure. A fine layer of sawdust, evidence of the building's recent construction, convers every surface in this space.
