Category talk:Creatures by Level

Hey why are some of these categories creatures lowercase and others Creatures capitalized? The creature template seems to make them capital Creatures, for example, Level 115 Creatures. This shows Level 115 creatures with creatures lowercase, and is empty. But still showing one of them? What's up. GameMaster Vanah (talk) 11:50, 26 May 2026 (CDT)

Unless something is capitalized as a proper noun (like Category:Evermore Hollow is for a venue/location), only the first letter should be capitalized for both standard articles and categories. In this case, "creatures" should ideally be lower case, and this category should ideally be "Creatures by level" instead of "Creatures by Level". That said, there are a lot of older categories that have not yet been updated to use the Gswiki:Style guide standard for capitalization on the wiki, especially on the mechanics side of things. Pretty much all of the creatures categories fall under this and have not yet been updated to lower case.. outside of a few which were created and currently have no contents due to template-applied categories. Because the various creatures templates are older and in some cases predate the style guide, they don't use proper casing and will eventually need to be updated to account for that (with a number of smaller edits to various other places to ensure everything migrates properly to new categories).
