Dapper Drapes are scripted clothing that allow for a Diverse Drapes fabric to be draped over them in the form of a cravat, half-cape, or pauldron. They are very similar to Drape Gowns but with a masculine flavor. They debuted at Ebon Gate in 2023 and are sold in The Discerning Stitch.

Dapper Drapes have the following default appearances for each of the three draped forms:

  • Cravat: a long-sleeved pale shot silk tunic framed by a cravat of winterweight tartan
  • Half-cape: a long-sleeved pale shot silk tunic chained with a half-cape of winterweight tartan
  • Pauldron: a long-sleeved pale shot silk tunic affixed by a leather-backed pauldron of winterweight tartan

In addition to altering the base 15/15/15 of the shirt, the way that the Diverse Drapes material is draped from the shirt can also be customized for each of the three appearance types (cravat, half-cape, and pauldron). The customized phrase, which replaces the italicized phrase above, is applied to the shirt itself and not the draping material.

Tier 1

Analyze

You analyze the iron grey silk tunic and sense that the creator has provided the following information:

 ~ Dapper Drapes ~

This iron grey silk tunic can be draped with an appropriate fabric (Diverse Drapes) to give the tunic a cravat, half-cape, or pauldron. Simply hold the tunic in one hand, a fabric for draping in the other, and PUSH the tunic.

A merchant may alter the tunic for you, but it must remain a tunic or shirtlike item made of fabric and may not have a long or show description. The adjective and noun of the draped fabric will append the item's description.

You may customize the way a cravat, half-cape, or pauldron is attached.

The iron grey silk tunic is NOT unlocked. You may WEAR, REMOVE, PUSH, and PULL the tunic.

There is currently no drape on your tunic.

You might be able to have a talented merchant lighten the iron grey silk tunic for you or deepen its pockets.
