Okay, so. I'll post more soon. But I'll be making some flares that work a bit like RotFlares. Not exactly like RotFlares, but it will take lore, frequency will be more with proper lores, there will be some sort of DoT, and it will be subscriptable. My goal is a few flavors.

I didn't want to derail anything while questions were being asked.

So for a script to subscript (meaning the main script can read secondary script) the main script basically can't do much. It's sole purpose has to be something that would not interfere at all with anything else. There may be ways around this, but that's why scripts that can subscript is extremely rare. I've only made 3 scripts that can do it, RageArmor, RotFlares, and LesserMoods.

With that all out of the way, the flares I'm working on that act a lot like RotFlares are going to have a few varieties. There won't just be an elemental one that works for any elemental lore you're training in. It will need to be one for fire, one for air, one for water, etc. My plan is to make the main 4 elemental lores (I know we have some combos) and one undead only one (to counter RotFlares).

They will not compare directly to RotFlares, as RotFlares does disease and damage, but can't hit things without blood. So the elemental ones will trade a little bit of damage power but be able to hit mostly everything (unless that creature has immunity of some sort). The holy one will have the same power level, but only work on undead.

I'll check the feeder levels later today and post about it.

Seems to be a lot of confusion on things reading through the chat log from yesterday.

One big thing I keep hearing is I'm planning a Mania this Saturday. I am not. There is no Mania. We are done there. I am releasing 5 flares (one of each), that's it.

The lores are named...

Blaze (fire lore)
Douse (water lore)
Cyclone (air lore)
Rock (earth lore)
Sacred [Fire] (summoning lore)

They're slightly different but I'll post more details after I clean up a few more bugs. The rock flares, for example, were missing "form" in there in the messaging. But there were some other spots where I was doing redundant stuff I want to clean up. And that goes for RotFlares, all these new ones, and Lesser Moods.

It does use enhancives for the lore check.

That's the real main reason I suggest hitting 105 if you're already going for 101.

Initial flare damage mods are identical to RotFlares. I know with the Rock Flares log shared, arena creatures, especially champions, come with crit reduction and higher hide armor on top of any armor they have.

They have as much built in resistance as a creature can get.

Earth is impact, Air is vacuum, Water is krush (yes with a K), and Fire is heat.

But, RotFlares also didn't have all the extras at first. Like I said, these are early flares and will likely get tweaked, just like RotFlares did.

For example, RotFlares look for 104 now in terms of PvP protection.

That was a player request.

The disease damage and seed was something Goat helped me pave the way on.

So missing out on them will probably be a big sad for people, as they'll probably be better next time they are offered.
