Sheets Gone Wild, Foyer

[Sheets Gone Wild, Foyer - 8084221]
Covered in pristine seafoam white sheets with nary a wrinkle on them, the decor of this entrance foyer is completely hidden except for the vague outline of the covered furniture. In one corner, a stout circular table rests between what appears to be two lifesize suits of armor, and in another, a low settee with arched arm rests, a potential resting spot for weary travelers. Winding toward the second floor is a grand staircase, its elaborate wooden bannister fully exposed. You also see a large placard.
Obvious exits: out

In the Common language, it reads:

IMPORTANT NOTICE!

If you are not trained in the ways of handling costumed mounts, then there will be limitations in functionality (with you AND with the mount). Following are the details for training levels.

BEGINNER: You can dress your mount in a costume, but you do not yet have the knowledge to ride (or mount) them. In addition, the mount is not able to interact with the costume (ie: lazies). You need to train to the Intermediate level of costume handling with the certificate with the riding crop.

INTERMEDIATE: You now have the knowledge to train your mount how to interact with costumes (ie: lazies).

ADVANCED: You now have an advanced understanding of costumes and how to ride a costumed mount. Mounts will also have special movement based on the costume type.

Note that despite the fact that you need to hold a sheet in order to acquire the knowledge from the certificates, it does apply to you as an individual and not to individual sheets. This knowledge will carry forward for all costumes worn by your mounts.

On the circular table you see: a folded multicolored taffeta sheet decorated with shimmering scales, a folded blue-green taffeta sheet decorated with shimmering scales, a folded light grey marbrinus sheet with dark grey shading, a folded black cotton sheet with white canvas strips, a folded incarnadine organza sheet, a folded grey leather sheet stitched with crimson threading, a folded dark brown chenille sheet adorned with ivory slivers, and a leathery certificate stamped with riding boots.

Exquisite shading created by the light grey marbrinus coupled with exceedingly brawny extremities provides a menacing representation of this creature. Its stone-like surface suggests solid and firm, but to the touch it remains soft and pliable. Attached to one fist is a stuffed marbrinus boulder, ready to be launched at the first sign of enemy threat! Glowing golden eyes, set with a pair of highly polished amber topazes, possess an unwavering stare.

A small tag sewn along the edge of the black cotton gives a detailed description of this item:

Thin branches covered in strips of canvas dyed varying shades of snow white, off-white, and grey have been adhered to a large piece of black cotton, a suitable backdrop for a skeleton. Adding a touch of color to the otherwise bland garment, a rigid satin red bow tie, complete with a mithril fastener for snug sizing, is fastened to the neck area, and the masterful construction of wooden joints between each bone section allows for lifelike motion and flow. Unbound bones hang from the bottom of the sheet and cause a rattling noise with any movement.

Molded to an acute point and covered in black marbrinus, crafted spikes dot the incarnadine organza, giving way to two massive wings of the same material. Held in place by ingeniously hidden support braces, the tips of the wings are adorned with curved black hooks that threaten any who dare to get close. A long, wolf-like snout is propped open to reveal rows of jagged teeth, and steam rises from the gaping maw, its origin unknown.

Two black holes filled with polished rubies offer a crazed stare, their brilliant glow accentuated by the dull grey color of the surrounding face. Half-chewed flesh along the neck reveals a severed jugular vein that drips a dark red liquid, and the blade of an ax has pierced the back of the head, a light, squishy matter emerging from the wound.

A small tag sewn along the edge of the dark brown chenille gives a detailed description of this item:

Streaks of light grey threads are woven within the wiry and scraggly dark brown chenille that covers the entire sheet. Triangular ears remain upright as if the creature is in a perpetual state of surveillance while clumps of goblin gold moss cling to the fabric at the eye positions, their bioluminescence giving a ghostly green halo around the creature's head. Slivers of ivory, carved to a needle-sharp point, protrude from the permanently opened maw, and droplets of a saliva-like substance seep constantly from their tips.

Faint spatterings of deep umber are indicative of bruising, and a flap of bright yellow is peeled back, exposing a much lighter yellow, grosgrain interior.
