Join the Lorekeepers of Silverwood Manor for a special series of Lexicons for Novice citizens. This is a fun and interactive way to learn all the best action verbs and enhance your roleplaying activity in Elanthia! Gather for the festivities on Saturday, June 10th, at 5 PM EST in Icemule Trace (one north and one west from Town Center at 310 Cursed Street). Mentors and GameMasters will be available for demonstrations and questions following the games! SORCERER ASSEMBLY Have a question about a sorcerer spell? Wondering what new spells are planned? Join the Order of Lorekeepers at Silverwood Manor in Wehnimer's Landing (one east from the temple, at 200 Erebor Square) for moderated Q&A sessions dedicated to the intricacies of sorcery! Sessions will take place on the 2nd Sunday of every month - be sure to check out the next ones on June 11th and July 9th, both at 9:30 PM EST. DINNER AT RAGING THRAK Raging Thrak Inn is hosting a community dinner for all citizens and visitors to Wehnimer's Landing. They have hired the best chefs and waitstaff to serve the finest meal in the lands. Join in the festivities on Monday, June 12th, at 9PM EST at the Raging Thrak Inn, Wehnimer's Landing. PLATINUM SUMMER SOLSTICE FESTIVAL Don't miss the event of the summer! Merchants and entertainers from across the lands will be gathering to provide fun, games, entertainment, and shopping. Challenge your friends to jousting or mud wrestling, ride the breathtaking log flumes, or gamble your silvers at a chance in the dark box. Fun for all! The festival begins Tuesday, June 13th and runs through the Friday, June 23rd. -------------------------------------------- 2. Elanthian News: BUDDY CONTEST WINNERS They told their friends about GemStone III and now they're reaping the rewards! We'll be picking three winners at the end of every month, so just keep spreading the word and you could be next! Those who have trained in polearms will now be able to trip their opponents with the appropriate weapons of sufficient reach (two-handed). MSTRIKE VERB RELEASED A new combat skill utilizing Multi-Opponents combat training has also been released. Individuals with sufficient training in Multi-Opponent combat skills will be able to strike many targets in one swing. Those who are truly adept in the skill, can focus their attention on a single target and unleash a barrage of strikes. SCHOLARS RELEASE STUDY OF HUMAN HISTORY After many years of research, Deinirius Antroydes, Sage of the Lost Tower, has completed his chronology of the Turamzzyrian Empire. In accordance with recent diplomatic initiatives begun by the empire, this document will be made freely available to all interested parties. The updated human history and new Turamzzyrian Map are now available for download in the GemStone III file libraries - check them out! SINGERS REJOICE! It seems that Jastev, in his endless quest to preserve the knowledge of all things artistic for eternity, stumbled upon some ancient records. Included in these texts were the musical notations for Song of Sonic Armor, Song of Rage, Song of Noise, and the previously-unheard-of Song of Mirrors. In his desire to preserve this knowledge for the survivors of the apocalypse he has forseen, Jastev apparently didn't feel inclined to share these songs with his present-day followers. Cholen, however, learned of Jastev's monumental discovery, and has (along with a little helpful nudging from Lumnis) cajoled the songs from Jastev for all to appreciate! NEW EMPATH SPELL LISTS GO LIVE In the message boards, Empath Liaison Krylan announced that a new Empath spell list will be released on June 9th in Platinum. The spell list in Prime will be released shortly afterwards. -------------------------------------------- 3. Premium & Platinum News: PREMIUM MEETING Gather with fellow Premium members on Friday, June 23rd, at 10pm EST at Frostacre Woods for the monthly meeting and a special raffle. Portals will be available inside the Halls, and will return you to where you departed. The raffle will start 30 minutes before the meeting and the drawing will take place when the meeting starts. See you there! JUNE DESIGN CONTEST! If you ever want to be a tailor, this month's contest could be your big break! Design an original item of clothing to be displayed in the new Four Winds Hall boutiques. See PREMIUM 6 for contest rules and guidelines. Be sure to get your entries in by midnight, June 18th.
