You analyze your off-white eye mask and sense that the creator has provided the following information:
A thin off-white eye mask is part of the Ferocious Eyes Series sold at Rumor Woods in the year of 5121. Once worn, it will change your eye characteristic or color based on the customized selection that you decide upon before wearing it. Furthermore, the mask will instantly become invisible and give you additional eye-interacting verbs.
It is currently tier 1 out of 4, which grants it 2 customizations. It has access to the following verbs: flip*, remove, touch, turn**, twitch, and wear.
*Cycles through the mask's eye characteristic choices.
**Cycles through the mask's eye color choices.
*Denotes demeanor-based verbs.
Alteration Rules: You may alter this freely provided you adhere to the rules under the ALTER verb for Feature Alterations.
Current Settings: He has wide winter grey eyes.
Custom Color 1: winter grey
Custom Color 2: aubergine
Custom Characteristic 1: wide
Custom Characteristic 2: silver-flecked
TIER 1 - Comes with 2 colors & 2 characteristics

Using your thumb, you flip a lens into the eye-hole of your off-white eye mask, changing the color from winter grey to aubergine.

Turning a dial at the side of your off-white eye mask, you rotate the characteristics of the eye-hole from wide to silver-flecked.
>wear my mask
You carefully fit a thin off-white eye mask over your eyes, which immediately shimmers to match your freckle-dusted skin tone and disappears from sight.
LOOK THANDIWE
You see GameMaster Thandiwe.
She appears to be a Giantman of the T'Kirem Clan.
She is very short, has a petite frame, and has freckle-dusted skin. She has silver-flecked aubergine eyes.

Feeling exasperated, you close your silver-flecked eyes and slowly run your fingertips over your right eyelid from the arch of your pert nose to your right temple. Upon reaching your temple, you sigh and slowly rub it in circles, reminding yourself that this, too, will pass.

You feel the corner of your right aubergine eye begin to twitch with your annoyance. The infuriating tick only serves to exacerbate your annoyance.
Tier 2 - Opens up a third customizing slot for color and a third customizing slot for characteristic

Placing your index finger at the arch of your pert nose, you use the pad of your fingertip to gently wipe under your aubergine eyes towards your temple.
>stare my mask
Turning your gaze downward, you comically stare at your pert nose.
>thump my mask
You use the heel of your palm to rub at your right eye and produce an odd squelching sound.
>tilt my mask
Cocking your eyebrow and narrowing your opposite aubergine eye, you display your skepticism.
Tier 3 - Opens up a fourth customizing slot for color and a fourth customizing slot for characteristic.

You attend to an itch on your eyelid by closing your silver-flecked eye and rubbing it with the pad of your fingertip.

You gaze about with intense interest, your aubergine eyes pausing to briefly inspect everything in their path.

You feel the corners of your aubergine eyes wrinkle as you grin.

You pause in introspection, your gaze growing distant with your ponderings.
Tier 4 - Opens up a fifth customizing slot for color and a fifth customizing slot for characteristic.

Gawking, your silver-flecked aubergine eyes grow round and wide.

Some questions that were asked and answered on Discord are...
It should, if I did the math correctly, provide you with an additional 14 eye-popping verbs.
When fully unlocked.
It is a hidden item, no one will see you wearing a mask.
It is pin-worn.

There are four tiers. I've outlined them all.
There is not a timer, you can wear it for always.
OTS mask is 1,000 raihken, each unlock is 750.
Also, you can have it customized by any merchant.
They can not unlock it.
>Not sure if I'm reading this right. Do all of the customs have to be designed before you wear it? Or can you wear it for a while and then upgrade it later on?
It must have at least 1 custom color and 1 custom characteristic to work. But... They are all sold OTS with 2. And, any merchant can work on them.
>Will there be "mini certs" that automate that somewhat? Like buy this cert for 100 Raiken to add X color.
It hadn't occurred to me to offer that.
I'm wondering if it would be good to have a way to plant your own eyes into it...

As you begin to raise the mask you hear a faint whisper in your ear, cautioning you against your current action.
* You are about to transfer your natural eye characteristic and eye color to the first customization spots, which will erase any customization currently in those spots. If you wish to continue, then please RAISE mask again in the next thirty seconds. *

You raise the mask slightly, holding it in front of you for a brief moment. Without preamble, the mask flashes and you briefly see your gold-flecked hazel eyes reflected in its lenses.

Additionally, it will check to see if you are wearing some kind of temporary feature:

It looks as though the eye characteristic of "silver-flecked" is already a temporary feature for you. You'll need to either remove it or let it wear off before you can capture your natural eye characteristic with a thin off-white eye mask.
Last, but very important question, does it have to follow normal alter rules for eyes?
Yes, it does. It would have had to be a temporary item to do any kind of illegal eye altering. I didn't want to set a timer on it, so it has to follow the rules.
